Training with the Ramstein Ski Patrol can be a great way to get to know your local community. We ha We welcome all skiers and snowboarders who are interested!

The Ramstein Ski Patrol is part of the European Division of the National Ski Patrol. The ski patrol is a volunteer non-profit organization that trains its members to their medical standard of Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC). Being part of the Ramstein Patrol you have the opportunity to learn and be trained in OEC, rescue/aiding injured skies/snowboarders, avalanche rescue, alpine travel, and much muc

h more. Due to the location of the European division we do not actually have a "home mountain" so we do not have hands on with patients and do not have a "first aid room". However, because we do not have to work with customers/mountain safety we have a high level of training and many opportunities to learn as much as we can.

Reminder! Ramstein Ski Patrol will have a recruitment event 15 August at 1500. Location Baerenloch in Kindsbach. Look for the Ski Patrol Cross and a bunch of awesome people who will welcome you.

Congrats to our two newest Patrollers Amy Luke and Philip Mathys. Validation occurred in Saas Switzerland during Bike Patrol! Badges handed out at meeting this week. Even with COVID restrictions you all nailed it. Proud of you and thanks to our volunteers and new candidates for your help! Finished the trip with a little paddle from
thun to Bern😁(By the way Philip Mathysyou will NEVER get that blanked back in the little bag)
