Heute ist ein ganz besonderer Tag — Marcus hat Geburtstag! 🎉❤️ Yeah!!!
Und genau deshalb möchten wir Euch heute auch Marcus vorstellen: ein Gründungsmitglied und von Anfang an mit dabei.
Mit ganz viel Engagement, klugen Impulsen, Herz und Humor ist er seit Tag eins ein wichtiger Teil unserer Reise. Jemand, der mitdenkt, anschiebt, mit anpackt und einfach immer da ist, wenn Unterstützung gebraucht wird.
Was wir an Marcus besonders lieben? Seine weltoffene und menschliche Art, seine positive Energie und dass er es selbst in stressigen Momenten schafft, Menschen zum Lächeln zu bringen. 😊
Menschen wie Marcus erinnern uns daran, dass echter Impact vor allem durch die Menschen entsteht, die sich kümmern und gemeinsam etwas bewegen wollen.

Today, on Mother’s Day, we want to celebrate the strength, love and resilience of mothers everywhere, especially the women and mothers in Nepal who carry so much responsibility every single day. ❤️
Many of the women we meet through our work are not only mothers, but also caregivers, providers, protectors and the emotional backbone of their families and communities. Despite difficult circumstances, they continue to create hope, stability and warmth for their children.
At bbuildsupnepal e.V., we believe that empowering women means strengthening entire families and creating better futures for children. From education and safe spaces to awareness programs and local support initiatives, every contribution helps create lasting impact.
Today, we also want to say thank you to all the mothers, supporters, volunteers and buddies who stand with us and help make this work possible. 🌸

Heute, am Muttertag, möchten wir die Stärke, Liebe und Widerstandskraft von Müttern überall auf der Welt feiern, besonders die Frauen und Mütter in Nepal, die jeden Tag so viel Verantwortung tragen. ❤️
Viele der Frauen, die wir durch unsere Arbeit kennenlernen, sind nicht nur Mütter, sondern gleichzeitig Bezugspersonen, Versorgerinnen, Beschützerinnen und das emotionale Fundament ihrer Familien und Gemeinschaften. Trotz schwieriger Lebensumstände schaffen sie jeden Tag Hoffnung, Stabilität und Geborgenheit für ihre Kinder.
Bei bbuildsupnepal e.V. glauben wir daran, dass die Stärkung von Frauen ganze Familien stärkt und Kindern bessere Zukunftsperspektiven ermöglicht. Ob Bildung, sichere Räume, Aufklärungsprogramme oder lokale Unterstützungsprojekte, jede Hilfe trägt dazu bei, nachhaltige Veränderungen zu schaffen.

Today we want to introduce someone who has been truly special to us from day one and say thank you. ❤️ Please meet Buddy Yvonne.
From the very beginning, Yvonne has been by our side since 2013l. Not occasionally, but consistently.
Standing for hours at Christmas markets in the cold ❄️, supporting events like Lollapalooza, bringing in new ideas, and simply being there whenever help is needed.
What makes her stand out?
Whenever we ask, her answer is always:
“Yes, of course.” Simply genuine commitment.

This Easter, we are reminded what hope really means.
Not just a symbol — but something we can build.
Birgit had the opportunity to meet an organized child group initiated and trained by our partner Voice of Children Nepal.
What makes this program so remarkable is simple — and powerful:
It connects awareness, empowerment, and protection into one system.
Children come together in structured groups.
They elect a chairperson — a child leader — who receives training on topics many adults still avoid:
child sexual abuse
prevention of child marriage
cyber security
This knowledge is shared within the group.
And most importantly:
There is a hotline they can call when they face or witness abuse.
👉 This means:
They don’t just learn.
They can act.
They support each other.
They speak up.
They protect one another.
This Easter, we invite you to be part of this change.
Because real hope is not given — it is built.
