Gender Inequality is defined as a discrimination based on gender. It signifies that the women and men are treated differently, solely based on gender stereotypes. Gender inequality has effects on various aspects of every day life and is still a problem in the 21st Century.
Youth exchange with 48 young people from the Netherlands, Sint Maarten, Spain, Italy, Republic of Nord Macedonia, Hungary. Turkey and Germany in Berlin to discuss and learn more on this topic. Purpose of the project was
-To create an inclusive European society by teaching young people about the social implications of gender inequality.
-To create an equal, sustainable economy for everyone by showing the gender inequality in economic domain to young people.
- To encourage quality learning among young people by creating awareness about gender inequality’s effects in the field of education.
- To increase the level of mental and physical health and general well-being among young people by informing them about the effects of gender inequality in the field of health.
To increase participation in the European democratic society by showing young people the legal effects of the problems caused by gender inequality
