Die Anna Lindh Stiftung versteht sich als ein Netzwerk der Netzwerke, in dem mittlerweile über 4.000 Mitgliedsorganisationen im Euro-Mittelmeerraum zusammengeschlossen sind, um miteinander in Austausch zu treten, gemeinsam an Fragestellungen zu arbeiten und neue Projekte zu initiieren. Diese Aufgabe wird in Deutschland vom Goethe Institut e.V. im Auftrag des Auswärtigen Amtes übernommen. Das Netzw
erk umfasst öffentliche Einrichtungen, NGOs, Wohlfahrtsverbände, politische und kulturelle Organisationen, Theater, Stiftungen und Medien. Das Deutsche Netzwerk der ALF hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, seine Aktivitäten darauf zu konzentrieren, interkulturelle Begegnungen von Menschen in der Region zu ermöglichen und die Sichtbarkeit von Themen zu erhöhen, die für die Bürgerinnen und Bürger der Region von Bedeutung sind, mit einem besonderen Fokus auf kulturelle Aktivitäten. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Sekretariat der ALF arbeitet das deutsche Netzwerk an kulturell und politisch relevanten Themen des interkulturellen Dialogs im Euro-Mediterranen Raum, um die Sichtbarkeit der Euro-Mediterranen Themen in der öffentlichen Debatte zu erhöhen.

The ALF Network in Germany collaborated in large scale cross-cultural dialogue programmes with civil society partners in countries including Egypt, Finland, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Sweden and Türkiye. In Germany, the Head of Network is appointed by the German Federal Government; the Goethe-Institut e.V. has been chosen by the German Federal Government to act as Head of the German Network. is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, which is active worldwide. They promote the knowledge of the German language abroad and encourage international cultural exchange. The network includes public institutions, NGOs, welfare associations, political and cultural organisations, theatres, foundations and media. The German Network of the ALF has set itself the objective of focusing its activities on enabling intercultural encounters of people across the region and increasing the visibility of topics that matter to citizens of the region, with a special focus on cultural activities. In cooperation with the secretariat of the ALF, the network works on culturally and politically relevant topics concerning the intercultural dialogue across the Euro-Mediterranean region to increase the visibility of the Euro-Mediterranean topics in the public debate.
