Living between cultures teaches you that identity is not something you carry in a suitcase. It is something you build, protect, and share.

I am *Nissankara Venkata Praneeth*, and for many years Munich has been both my home and my responsibility. Over time, I came to understand that migration is not merely a physical journey, but an emotional and cultural passage that reshapes one’s sense of belonging.
When I founded IndoEuropean.eu, it was not driven by the ambition to build something large, but by the desire to build something meaningful. I had witnessed how migration can feel both exhilarating and isolating. My intention was to create a space where Indians across Europe could find guidance, familiarity, and friendship as they stepped into new chapters of their lives.Promoted more than 5000 events in Europe.
At twenty-eight, I accepted the role of President of the Mana Telugu Association. What began as scattered groups across Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf gradually evolved into a network bound by language, culture, and shared memory. The work was never about titles or recognition. It was about listening carefully, mediating thoughtfully, encouraging consistently, and, at times, simply being present.
Over the years, sports became one of our strongest bridges. Through tournaments such as the India Cup, Bavaria Cup, and Bharat Cup, I witnessed how competition dissolved hierarchy. On the field, professional identities faded. What remained was teamwork, laughter, and a shared sense of belonging.
Our festivals tell a similar story. The glow of Diwali, the colors of Holi, the gatherings of Iftar, the renewal of Ugadi, the harvest spirit of Sankranti. Each celebration is more than ritual. It is remembrance. It is continuity. It is an invitation to the wider European society to see us not as visitors, but as contributors.
My journey has never been about prominence, but about purpose. I believe leadership is not defined by visibility, but by the resilience of the communities it helps nurture and the trust it inspires over time. Through steady commitment to cultural preservation, inclusive engagement, and meaningful dialogue, I have sought to build bridges that endure beyond events and titles. If there is any measure of my work, it lies in the strengthened bonds between people, the confidence of a community that feels seen, and the lasting connections formed between cultures and nations.
