⚡ L’énergie solaire peut être consommée directement, tandis que le surplus est injecté dans le réseau public.
🌱 Un exemple concret d’utilisation durable de l’énergie solaire sans nécessiter systématiquement de grandes capacités de stockage par batteries.

Die Urbis Foundation setzt sich für nachhaltige Landwirtschaft und erneuerbare Energien in Togo ein und stärkt durch externe Schulungen zu solarbetriebenen Bewässerungssystemen (SPIS) lokale Fachkompetenzen. Im Jahr 2026 fanden am CPIA in Koboyo vier Schulungen statt, nachdem das lokale CPIA-Team im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit mit der GIZ umfassend zu SPIS geschult wurde. So wird Wissen direkt vor Ort weitergegeben und langfristig für eine klimaresiliente Landwirtschaft nutzbar gemacht. 🌱☀️💧

The Urbis Foundation is promoting sustainable agriculture and renewable energy in Togo by strengthening local expertise through external training on Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS). In 2026, four training sessions were held at CPIA in Koboyo, following comprehensive SPIS training of the local CPIA team through cooperation with GIZ. This approach enables knowledge to be shared locally and supports the long-term development of climate-resilient agriculture. 🌱☀️💧

La Fondation Urbis s’engage en faveur d’une agriculture durable et des énergies renouvelables au Togo en renforçant les compétences locales grâce à des formations externes sur les systèmes d’irrigation solaire (SPIS). En 2026, quatre formations ont été organisées au CPIA de Koboyo, après une formation approfondie de l’équipe locale du CPIA aux SPIS dans le cadre de la coopération avec la GIZ. Cette approche permet de transmettre les connaissances directement sur le terrain et de contribuer durablement au développement d’une agriculture résiliente face au changement climatique. 🌱☀️💧

☀️🚜 Projektbesuche und Austausch in Togo

Ende Mai war unsere Projektkoordinatorin Cornelia Dix für zwei Wochen in Togo unterwegs, um Solar- und Maschinenring-Projekte zu begleiten. 🤝
Im Fokus standen die Zusammenarbeit mit der URBIS Foundation Togo sowie Partnern wie Suntec Togo und der GIZ. ⚡
Besonders die Maschinenringe und Ausbildungsaktivitäten vor Ort zeigen, wie nachhaltige Entwicklung praktisch umgesetzt wird. 🌱

Key discussions took place with URBIS Foundation Togo, Suntec Togo, GIZ and other partners. ⚡
The machinery rings and local training activities highlight practical pathways for sustainable rural development. 🌱

Fin mai, notre coordinatrice de projet Cornelia Dix a passé deux semaines au Togo pour suivre des projets solaires et de machines agricoles. 🤝
Les échanges ont eu lieu avec la URBIS Foundation Togo, Suntec Togo, la GIZ et d’autres partenaires. ⚡
Les machines agricoles et les formations locales montrent des approches concrètes du développement durable. 🌱

Die Installation des Solarsystems bei der NGO Deaf in Action in Omoro, Uganda wurde erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Das System wurde durch unseren Umsetzungspartner ACSET erfolgreich installiert und ist nun in Betrieb und liefert zuverlässige, saubere Energie. Damit werden wichtige Bildungs- und Ausbildungsaktivitäten nachhaltig unterstützt.

The installation of the solar system at the NGO Deaf in Action in Omoro, Uganda has been successfully completed. The system was implemented by our partner ACSET and is now operational, providing reliable and clean energy. This will sustainably support key education and training activities.

L’installation du système solaire à l’ONG Deaf in Action à Omoro, Ouagnda a été achevée avec succès. Le système a été mis en œuvre par notre partenaire ACSET et est désormais opérationnel, fournissant une énergie propre et fiable. Cela soutient durablement les activités d’éducation et de formation.

Die Urbis Foundation besuchte die Windkraft Simonsfeld AG in Österreich, um die gemeinsamen Projekte in Togo vorzustellen und den Fortschritt der Kooperation zu reflektieren. Dabei wurde auch der ökologische Firmensitz besichtigt und über die Ausbildungsprogramme im Bereich Solarenergie berichtet. Die 5-jährige Partnerschaft bis 2027 stärkt die Ausbildung in Photovoltaik und Solarthermie sowie praxisnahe Installationen in Togo.

The Urbis Foundation visited Windkraft Simonsfeld AG in Austria to present joint projects in Togo and reflect on the progress of the cooperation. The ecological headquarters was also visited, alongside presentations on solar training programs in Togo. The five-year partnership until 2027 supports vocational training in photovoltaics and solar thermal energy, combined with practical installations.

La Urbis Foundation a visité Windkraft Simonsfeld AG en Autriche afin de présenter les projets communs au Togo et de faire le point sur la coopération. Le siège écologique a été visité et les programmes de formation en énergie solaire ont été présentés. Ce partenariat de cinq ans jusqu’en 2027 soutient la formation en photovoltaïque et solaire thermique, ainsi que des installations pratiques au Togo.

Im März 2026 wurden im Rahmen eines von der URBIS Foundation geförderten Projekts gemeinsam mit Make Me Smile Kenya und SOLAERA zwei Solaranlagen in Kisumu erfolgreich installiert und in Betrieb genommen.
Neben nachhaltiger Energieversorgung stand insbesondere die praxisnahe Ausbildung von Auszubildenden – vor allem Frauen – im Fokus.
Das Projekt zeigt, wie erneuerbare Energien und Fachkräfteentwicklung wirkungsvoll miteinander verbunden werden können.

In March 2026, two solar PV systems were successfully installed and commissioned in Kisumu as part of a project funded by the URBIS Foundation in collaboration with Make Me Smile Kenya and SOLAERA.
Beyond clean energy access, the project focused on hands-on training for trainees, especially women.
It demonstrates how renewable energy and skills development can be effectively combined.

En mars 2026, deux installations photovoltaïques ont été mises en service avec succès à Kisumu במסגרת d’un projet financé par la URBIS Foundation en collaboration avec Make Me Smile Kenya et SOLAERA.
Au-delà de l’accès à l’énergie durable, le projet a mis l’accent sur la formation pratique des apprenants, en particulier des femmes.
Il montre comment énergie renouvelable et développement des compétences peuvent être étroitement liés.
