Munich Climate Week Event 🌏 🤗 Global Guardians

Herzlichen Dank!

🙏 Thank you for supporting Nepal 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated or shared our call for support following the devastating floods in Nepal. Your generosity is already helping people and communities affected by this disaster.

However, the situation remains critical. More than 900 people have lost their lives, and thousands remain missing. Rescue teams are continuing to work around the clock, including in areas where people remain trapped, while difficult conditions are making the search extremely challenging.
Upstream lakes, unstable debris dams as well as heavy rainfall create additional risks for communities and rescue teams.

The scale of the damage is enormous - from the destruction of entire villages, roads, bridges and critical infrastructure to the immediate and long-term impacts on health, mental wellbeing and livelihoods.

The people and communities affected need help now, and they will need support far beyond the immediate rescue efforts.

If you wish to contribute, you can donate via the link in bio.

All donations go to the Disaster Relief Fund of the Nepali Government.

Thank you❤️

On 26th August, flash floods entering from the Tibetan border left a trace of total destruction in central Nepal. Entire villages were swept away not only at the Tibetan border but also much farther downstream along the Bhotekhoshi river and beyond.

Long Yang NGO & Akasha Academy are contributing to the search, rescue, relief and reconstruction effort by collecting donations. All donations will be sent to the Disaster Relief Fund of the Nepali government. If you wish to donate, you can do so via https://www.akasha-academy.org/nepal-flood-disaster-support/ 🙏🏼
