✨ Up for an evening of good vibes right in the heart of Munich? Then come along and experience Trio Forró do Xenhenhem live under the open sky! 💃🌆

Let Mariana Debenedetti (vocals, percussion), Sabrina Figueroa (zabumba), and Pedro Bragán (accordion) sweep you away. This trio brings the authentic vibe of Brazil—shaped by their roots in Buenos Aires—straight to us here in Munich.

🌟Arianna bridges the worlds of Medicine and Dance, bringing a unique perspective to the dance floor. Her teaching style focuses deeply on body awareness, safety, comfort, and versatility.
With a rich foundation starting in childhood Ballet and moving into professional Belly Dance, she fell in love with Forró in 2022. Since then, she has trained intensively across Europe and Brazil, certified with Victor Maia, mentored with Sheila Santos, and even took home 3rd place in Brasília’s Professional Jack & Jill! 🏆
Now, she’s bringing her project Forró com Ari to us, offering a technical yet light approach that explores everything from Roots to Universitário. Her mission? Giving both leaders and followers the ultimate freedom, autonomy, and expression on the floor. 💃🕺

💞Teachers & Workshops Weekend with international guest Sheila Santos, helped by local teacher Luisa Conti!

Join us on June 13th–14th at Dance and Fight for an intensive weekend of specialized teacher training, advanced masterclasses, and workshops open to everyone. Whether you are a dancer looking to level up or an instructor refining your craft, there will be something for you! And as an extra treat, Mulher que Dança networking brunch on Sunday!

Saturday, June 13th: Workshops open to both students and teachers.
Sunday, June 14th: Teachers Training (open to current instructors and aspiring teachers), plus a dedicated networking brunch for professional women in dance.

✨About our international guest Sheila Santos:
Sheila is well known for being the teacher of teachers. With a university degree in Dance, she has been teaching many different ballroom dances in Brazil and in the world. Since 2010, she has been researching new ways of relating in partner dances, bringing a more active participation of the follower, allowing for more creativity and musicality and dedication from each person during the dance. This relationship goes beyond roles (lead-follower) and expands our skills as male and female dancers, allowing for a more enjoyable and communicative dance. A digital entrepreneur since 2018, she is the creator of the Mulher que Dança Project, currently one of the largest communities of women in ballroom dancing.

Followers, it’s time to find your own voice on the dance floor! 💃✨ Join Luisa, Lea, and Lena for our Follower Techniques Mini Course—a deep dive into the mechanics, artistry, and confidence of following. 🎶
We are moving beyond reactive dancing to build genuine autonomy. ⚡️ This course slows down the details often rushed in regular classes, focusing on body mechanics, rhythmic precision, and the repertoire needed to contribute your own voice to the dialogue of the dance. 🗣️ Transform your dance into something more playful, musical, and expressive, without losing the connection to your partner! 🌟

Mondays 18:15-19:30 in LUISE ballroom. Followed by free dancing until 22:00 🪩

Dates:

🗓 18.05 | Class 1: Weight transfer, footwork & syncopated movements.
🗓 08.06 | Class 2: Open frame connection, turns & repique.
🗓 29.06 | Class 3: Arm variations: Freedom without losing connection.
🗓 06.07 | Class 4: Creativity, autonomy & active following.

This course is for all followers (all genders welcomed!) who have some experience dancing Forró and want to sharpen their technique.

We close the season in Giesinger Bahnhof and start the outdoor season ☀️

DJ Heron:

Hailing from the outskirts of São Paulo, Heron’s sound is deeply rooted in Brazil’s urban culture and musical heritage — from hip hop and reggae to the rich traditions of forró. Since 2016, he has been digging into vinyl, building a carefully curated collection dedicated to the many styles of forró.

Now based in Europe, he has become a key figure in the scene, known for authentic and thoughtful sets that seamlessly blend tradition with contemporary energy — guiding listeners through baião, xote, xaxado, balanço, and brega.

Come to see him playing for you, fun is guaranteed!

Drinks: The Giesinger Cultural Center has a fully equipped bar. Please note that bringing your own drinks is not permitted.

Forró- und Samba-Wochenende mit Bel Loyola Felipe Liberal und Ricelli Pinheiro .pinheiro 😍

Ein Wochenende voller Rhythmus, Verbindung und Kreativität im Tanz!
Am 2. und 3. Mai, jeweils ab 16:00 Uhr, laden wir dich zu einem besonderen Event in München ein. Dich erwarten Forró- und Samba-Workshops für verschiedene Levels, gemeinsames Tanzen und eine lebendige Atmosphäre rund um Forró und Samba.

Im Laufe des Wochenendes arbeiten wir an Technik, Musikalität, Drehungen, Verbindung im Paar sowie an kreativen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten im Tanz. Das Programm verbindet Lernen und Erleben: Open-Level-Kurse, Mittelstufe-Workshops und Special Workshops sorgen für Abwechslung und Entwicklung auf jedem Niveau.
Am Samstagabend feiern wir gemeinsam mit einer Party inklusive Schnupperkurs für Forró und Samba sowie Live-Musik ab 22:00 Uhr mit Elisabete Carvalho & Edivaldo Kirsch. Am Sonntag gibt es weitere Workshops und Zeit für freies Tanzen.

Die Veranstaltung wird in Zusammenarbeit zwischen Munique Dança Forró und Tanze Samba mit mir organisiert und bringt verschiedene Communities rund um Tanz und brasilianische Kultur zusammen. 🤩
