A very special moment in Svay Leu: The official opening ceremony of the Mamisch Primary School🎉

What once stood as an unfinished building is now a place filled with children’s voices, learning and daily life. Together with our local partners, we were able to celebrate this important milestone on site and see the school come to life.

Today, 22 children attend preschool here every morning. In the afternoons, around 90 children of different ages come to the school for English classes.

But opening a school is only the beginning. A reliable school day requires ongoing support, from learning materials and school clothing to teaching resources, daily operations and warm meals for the children.

This is why monthly support is so important. Regular contributions help us plan ahead and ensure that the Mamisch Primary School can continue to grow and remain a stable place for children in the community❤️

Five widowed mothers and their 28 children are once again facing uncertainty in northern Syria.

In recent months, the families were forced to flee due to renewed violence. Shortly after returning to the camp, severe flooding hit the region and the tents had to be evacuated. For days, they sought shelter in mosques and temporary spaces.

Thankfully, no one was physically harmed🤍 but stability remains fragile.

Right now, discussions are underway about relocating the families into more permanent housing in Aleppo – creating a safer environment with access to school and a real perspective beyond emergency survival.

While the situation continues to shift, one thing remains constant: Our commitment to stand by them.

To maintain this support, we currently rely on monthly funds of 1,500 euros. Regular donations help us plan reliably and continue standing by these families over time.

A place to gather, connect and build a future together🏡

In Luang Prabang, the neighbourhood house with guest room has now been completed, a meaningful milestone for the community. The new space brings people together for gatherings, cultural exchange and mutual support, while also creating a long-term source of income for the supported family and nearby households.

Being welcomed here like an old friend once again showed how strong relationships grow over time. A project completed and a community strengthened🤗

For many families, this health center is the only place to seek medical help🏥

Located right next to Ban Na Primary School, the local health station serves the village and surrounding communities. During our visit, it became clear that all medicines had completely run out, putting basic medical care at serious risk. Immediate action was taken and the urgently needed medicines were procured to secure medical treatment for an entire year. This support especially benefits mothers, infants, children and elderly people, something that was uncertain just days before.

We were welcomed with smiles, flowers and a small ceremony at Ban Na Primary School in the Chomphet District🤍

The visit offered insight into the current situation of the school, the measures already implemented and those still ahead. One thing that really stood out was the strong involvement of both the school and the village community – a shared belief in the power of education and its importance for the children’s future✨

So happy to share our new project: Pak Seuang Primary School🏫✨
Several classrooms at the school are currently unusable due to severe structural damage, forcing students and teachers to cope with difficult and unsafe learning conditions. During the visit, the situation on the ground and the challenges faced by the school became clear.
This marks the starting point of a new project focused on improving school infrastructure and creating a safe learning environment for children in a remote region📖🌍

At the beginning of the year, we visited a monastic school in Luang Prabang Province, home to around 200 young novices aged 8 to 16🙏📚
For many of these children, entering the temple is not primarily a religious choice, but the only way to access education, daily meals and a safe place to live. During the visit, the simple living and learning conditions became clear as well as the strong sense of discipline, respect and community among the boys.
Visits like this help us better understand local realities and make responsible, well-informed decisions for the future🌱

Livyi and Socheata each carry their own beautiful dreams: Socheata hopes to open her own restaurant one day, while Livyi dreams of becoming an architect.
Thanks to your support, they can attend the Australian Centre of Education in Siem Reap, one of the best educational institutions in the country🏫 For their father, Leo, this means more than education. It means hope for a brighter future. And for all of us, it is the most beautiful reminder that help truly arrives where it’s needed🥰

269 children. An old school building in danger of collapsing. With the construction of the new Vern Khane Primary School, we are giving them a safe learning environment with five new classrooms, toilets and the support of the entire village. Education changes everything. And sometimes change begins with a single brick. Every donation helps to make this building a reality💛
