Our Elif made it 🎉
Last Sunday Elif made her first 10km and raised 475€ to support our Makungu Carehome project. Thank you for everyone that participated in our campaign. We really appreciate each one of you donating and hope you have a sunny week 💚✨

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY✨🤞🏻💚
Our dearest Elif will be running her first 10km to support Students for Amani. Our goal is to raise 500€ to finance the school fees of the children at the Makungu Carehome 🥰
Only 45€ left to reach our goal, we thank you for your support and help for Elif to cross the finish line 🎉🎉

9th of May our star will be running her first 10km in Geneva ✨
For this special occasion she will be running to support the Makungu Carehome children’s education. Our objective is to raise 500€, the equivalent of 2 school terms 💚
100€ left to reach our goal, help us make a difference! 🥰

Ending the week with some updates from the Makungu Carehome 💚

📚 First — Sarah and John (the names we use to protect their identities) have officially started secondary school.

💻 Thanks to your generous support, new laptops have arrived at the carehome! The children took part in an introductory course covering everything from the basics of how to use them, to staying safe online and — most importantly — how to harness technology as a powerful tool for their education and future.

🎓 And last but not least — Karuga, our wonderful development worker, made a special trip to Bungoma to sit down with three of our older children who are getting ready to start their college applications. The future is wide open for them ✨

The Makungu Children are back to school since end of August and already focused on studying 🥰💚 this marks the start of their third and last term, where the children will be preparing their end-of-year exams 🤞🏻

🌍✨ We’re excited to share that Students for Amani will be part of the Alafia Festival in Hamburg!

From August 22–24, you’ll find us at the market in Altona, bringing to Hamburg beautiful hand-made clothes that we’ll be selling to raise funds for our projects.
