The primary school „Notre Dame“ in the Diocese of Bafang in Cameroon consists of 12 classes with around 60 students per class and a kindergarten with 4 groups, with approx. 690 students.
As a direct consequence of the high poverty in this region, there is a lack of basic infrastructure in many schools.
Sponsored by the "Katholische Pfarrgemeinde Zu Den Heiligen Aposteln - Freundeskreis eine Welt Erlangen Germany", Afrika-Solidarity is committed to permanently improving living conditions and promoting hygiene in the “Notre Dame” primary school in the Diocese of Bafang by building child-friendly toilets within the area School.

Training of Producers in E-commerce
This day January 22, 2023 took place at the headquarters of the Community Association for Development and Well-being (ACODEB), the training of producers on online sales.
Initiated by Afrika-Solidarity and under the leadership of the President of ACODEB and the members, the team had the honor of bringing more to 55 producers from different farmer field schools in the West-Cameroon region.
Among other things, they learned how to create a professional account by going through:
👉🏽 Professional profile information;
👉🏽the creation of a Catalog;
👉🏽 Use greetings and absence messages to build customer loyalty;
👉🏽Quick responses;
👉🏽 create wide broadcasts...
Immense was the joy of the beneficiaries, because now well equiped for online sales, all returned with the ambition to expand their sales channel via the WhatsApp business application.
Thus the phone for them becomes not only a tool for sending and liking photos on social networks, but an exhibition store for products and services.
The training continues online in the forums.

Bringing consumers closer to organic production fields through E-commerce
In order to bring consumers closer to the organic producers benefiting from the project to promote organic farming in West Cameroon to fight against hunger and poverty, the project team invites the selected producers from the 18 farmer field schools to take take part in an E-commerce training session, at the ACODEB head office (Gouache-Bafoussam) on January 22, 2023 at 8 a.m. sharp.
Specific objective: Strengthen your skills in online sales.

On September 28, orphans and destitute CAISEPD of the regional delegation of social affairs of Bafoussam benefited from a third training in organic agriculture. This training focused mainly on the manufacture of Bio-fertilizers (Biochar tea, titonia manure associated with desmodium) following the training on E-Commerce (online sales). 25 orphans responded. Very active and motivated on the issue of organic farming, they thank the president of AFRIKA SOLIDARITY for this initiative

Afrika-Solidarity, ACODEB and AAFCOOP are celebrating the Organic Agriculture Day!
On Monday, February 27, 2023, the organic farming festival took place, the closing point of the organic farming project. This project which brought together 06 departments (Menoua, Bamboutos, high plateau, high nkam, MIFI, Koung Nkhi) of West Cameroon had its apotheosis on this day in the presence of several administrative and traditional authorities in this case:
👉🏽 The Regional Delegate of MINADER;
👉🏽 06 Departmental Delegates;
👉🏽 The Head of Social Affairs Center of Bafoussam III;
👉🏽 The Regional Delegate of MINEPIA;
👉🏽 The head of the NGOUACHE district;
👉🏽 The president of Afrika Solidarity;
👉🏽 Trainers;
👉🏽 Producers; ...
This celebration of Organic Agriculture began with the performance of the national anthem, the opening speeches, the visit of the stands, the presentation of the project, the exchanges and interventions; the awarding of various prizes and certificates of recognition.
This ceremony ended on a positive note because organic has become essential in the habits of consumers and producers in the West-Cameroon region.
On this occasion, the project partner promised to hand over to whom it may concern the grievances of the various delegates, producers so that organic farming in western Cameroon and beyond its borders can live.

Second training in organic farming in Kekem by Bafang this day.
In the continuation of the training which began in June, producers who participated in the first session took part today in the cleaning of the farmers field school followed by the stripping of the compost fermented last month. Satisfaction was visible in this field. The successful 21 days compost was used to sow maize and cassava. Agricultural equipment consisting of boots, hoes and machetes as well as corn seed were distributed to all the participiants by our local partner on the field Aafcoop and Acodeb.

Baboate Farmers Field School in full development:
Today the third training in organic farming was held in Baboate where 22 producers were present.
The day began with the maintenance of the field, followed by the manufacture of an titonia insect repellent based on the ash solution for the protection of food crops.
The agenda continued with the fabrication of fertilizer and finally ended by the E-commerce training.
As a positive point of the three formations we can emphasize the creation of several individual fields in corn, beans and soybeans. That means that the local producers are now aware of the advantages of organic farming and are using this new method in their daily activities.

On September 8, 2022, the third training in Organic Agriculture was held in Kekem Farmers Field School located in Petit Nkam.
20 producers were present and the training has started with the monitoring of the evolution of corn and groundnut fields, followed by the fabrication of biopesticides, namely the ash solution based on titonia and a fertilizer called titonia manure. The day ended with a training session in E-commerce.
One of the positive point is the determination of the producers of Kekem to persevere in the organic agriculture out the the feedbacks we could collet.
The producers thank Afrika-Solidarity and its partners for the initiative.

Today 19 producers gathered at the Farmers Field School of Babouantou as part of the follow up training (3rd) in organic agriculture implemented by Afrika-Solidarity and his local partners AAFCOOP/ACODEB in Cameroon. The very involved and motivated producers started with the maintenance of the corn fields, then actively participated in the course on E-commerce, focused on the proper use of WhatsApp Business resources and the creation of an attractive catalog and finally by the manufacture of bio-fertilizers following the approach of guided practice and independent practice.
