Herzlich Willkommen bei Infinity Mannheim e.V.! Zukunft von Anfang an - Infinity Mannheim e.V.

ist eine akkreditierte und neu gegründete Studierendeninitiative an der Universität Mannheim, die sich Zukunftsfragen stellt. Wir verstehen uns als Entwicklungslabor mit dem Ziel ein selbstbestimmtes und verantwortliches Handeln in Bezug auf Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft zu stärken. Bei uns werden junge Menschen aus Mannheim vereint, die sich der Herausforderung stellen und versuchen Lösungskonzepte

zu finden, wie unsere Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft nachhaltiger gestaltet werden kann. Wir organisieren Vorträge sowie Workshops mit Vertretern aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft, um unter den Studierenden der Universität Mannheim ein Bewusstsein für nachhaltige Lösungskonzepte zu schaffen. Im Rahmen eigener Projekte im Bereich Social Entrepreneurship bieten wir unseren Kommilitonen die Möglichkeit, im Kleinen eine Wirkung zu erzielen.

🦁 Infinity x osapiens

At our Project Night earlier this month, we dove into the future of sustainability reporting together with osapiens.
Infinity alumnus Simon Hütten gave us exciting insights into CSRD, ESG reporting and how digital tools help companies navigate complex EU regulations like the EUDR.

We also explored the role of a Product Specialist and wrapped up the evening with a hands-on mini case study.
Thanks so much to Simon and the osapiens team for this inspiring session! ✨

🦁 Vorstandswechsel 🦁

Schon seit einiger Zeit hat sich wieder etwas im INFINITY Mannheim Vorstand getan. hat sich ins Auslandssemester verabschiedet und ihr Sprecheramt an .x123 übergeben, der uns nun seit Dezember tatkräftig unterstützt. Außerdem wurde nach einem Leerlauf im letzten Semester der Event Management Posten wieder besetzt und der Vorstand mit .walliser auf sieben Personen erweitert.

Wir freuen uns auf ein erfolgreiches Sommersemester🥳🦁

Join us to meet Lara Hutt, a former INFINITY member from the early days of our initiative! 🎓🦁

While studying English and Business at the University of Mannheim, Lara was actively involved with INFINITY. Today, she works for Fairtrade Germany, a non-profit organization that promotes fair trade and certifies products with the Fairtrade mark. Her expertise lies in Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) – a key focus of recent EU legislation.

In her talk, Lara will introduce the Fairtrade system, highlight Fairtrade’s role in HREDD, and share insights on the impact of sustainability laws on producers 🌱. Joining her will be Daniela Hess, a Master’s student at the University of Mannheim and FairActivist. 🌍 Daniela has been with Fairtrade for nearly two years and recently participated in an exchange program connecting young people from Germany and Kenya! 🌞

⭐️ Neues Semester - Neuer Vorstand Teil II ⭐️

Der Rest des diesjährigen Vorstandes wird vervollständigt mit James, der für unsere Finanzen zuständig ist, Juliane bei PR und Jenny, die bei HR unterstützt.

Das halbe Semester ist schon rum, aber wir sind trotzdem immer noch motiviert und immer dabei - egal ob bei Vorträgen oder Karaokeabenden. Wir freuen uns auf das restliche Jahr mit euch🎉

⭐️ Neues Semester - Neuer Vorstand ⭐️

Seit der letzten Vollversammlung im FSS haben wir ein neues Vorstandsteam! Etwas verkleinert, aber mit neuem Tatendrang ist dieses Semester unter der Leitung von Sprecher JB und Sprecherin Tabea auch schon einiges passiert. 🦁

Unter anderem Events wie das Hackfestival, mehrere Kickoffs und unser Projekt Pitch, der dieses Semester ein neues Projekt hervorgebracht hat 🚀
