United for Honduras

United for Honduras We are a group a selfdriven people that have come together to help our beloved Honduras. We believe together we can help to make Honduras a better place.

We are motivated by the fact that disasters like Tropical Storm ETA affect those most in need. The past week we have watched how our beloved country Honduras in Central America has been hit by a terrible Tropical Strom ETA. This storm has left many families without a home, children without food or shelter and more than a hand full of families have lost their lives. Schools and community centers ha

ve also been destroyed by the flood. All of this in the worst moment of the COVID19 pandemic. Floods have covered La Lima (population of 75,000) in the northern part of the country. It has been more that 3 days and families are still trapped on the roof of their homes waiting to be rescued. Firefighters are exhausted and their homes and loved ones have also been affected. Since March Honduras have been in quarantine due to Covid-19 and making their economic stability tremble. Now entire families are suffering even more, and their future is unclear.
