✨ Inspiring kick-off of RE2RE – Regenerate to Receive in Lindow, Germany, with partners from Portugal and Spain.

The project explores new possibilities for young people in rural regions — helping them build meaningful perspectives in their local communities and welcome newcomers. The processes are complex, the experiences diverse, and the cross-thinking & exchange truly inspiring. There is so much we can learn together 🤝✨

Gianna and Vite took part in an exciting yet cosy first meeting with our partners from Portugal, Spain and Germany. Our long-standing friendship with and keeps growing, and it was a pleasure to collaborate for the first time with MICELI from Catalonia and discover their work more closely 🌿🌍

A heartfelt thank you to Platform Kleine Paradiese for hosting us in Lindow. Returning to this beautiful lakeside scenery felt both familiar and touching 💛🌊 We also met wonderful artists and enjoyed a spontaneous, unforgettable last evening together. Gracias, Obrigado & Danke!

We were also joined by two amazing youth ambassadors — (Brazil/Spain) and (Somalia/Portugal) — both around 18 and traveling to another EU country for the first time. Truly inspiring 🌱

The aim of the meeting was to exchange experiences, identify strengths, reflect on missing elements, and define what we want to learn together. We succeeded — and this shared knowledge will guide the piloting phase starting in February in all participating rural regions 🤗🌾

Staying curious and open-hearted for everything that comes next 💫💛

What a week in Düsseldorf 🎥✨

From cooking lentil soup together to media trainings, yoga, bodywork sessions and some sightseeing — our first TAMA training was pure creative chaos (in the best way). We learned, laughed, filmed, edited, and probably took too many pictures that now serve as witnesses of this beautiful experience (And, we are sharing some of them with y'all!) 📸

Again, huge thanks to and — our wonderful friends and cooperation partners, and to everyone who brought their stories, voices, and just positive attitude.

Can’t wait for round two in Portugal 🇵🇹

Day 1 of TAMA project just kicked off in Düsseldorf 🎬

Both, German and Portuguese participants are already here! 🫶
Today we started with some good talks - why we’re here and what we’ll do - followed by a warm lentil soup we cooked together (team bonding at its finest 🥣). Then came our first media training session and a little sightseeing break at the TV Tower to enjoy the Düsseldorf city Autumn views. 🍁

👉 TAMA (Together: Youth Advocacy Media Action) is all about learning how to tell stories that matter. Podcasts, campaigns, videos, using just your phone and your voice.

🙏 Big thanks to our friends and project partners from and for working with us through the creative chaos. Can’t wait for what’s next!

✨ Rückblick: Unsere Trash/Treasure Workshops in Inas Atelier waren jedes Mal voller Kreativität, neuer Impulse – und Freundschaften, die über die Freitage hinaus gewachsen sind.

💟💦 Dear advocates, visionaries, ambassadors, friends & peacemakers,

We are excited to share the call for applications for the ERASMUS+ youth project Together: Youth Advocacy Media Action – creating digital content that matters.

👉For whom? For all those that want to express your voice through creative media production, e.g. to share your own personal story and experiences in a podcast session, advertise for the rights of nature on social media, or fundraise for persons looking for refuge; reside in Germany and Portugal and have between 18-27 years.

👉What? Our experienced partners of Refocus Media Lab will show you how to gain confidence in storytelling and use your mobile phone as a professional tool for your advocacy work.

👉When? 7 days meeting in October 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany; 7 days meeting in February 2026 in Leiria, Portugal; 4 in-between Mentoring Calls; Final event in June and July 2026

👉How to get involved? Send us a brief description of approx. 300 words on your motivation to take part in this project - Are you curious to learn new media skills and get connected to other engaged people? Do you have a running campaign and need further support? Or do you have a vague idea and don‘t know where to start?

We are interested in what drives you and what you want to share with this world. Please add a few sentences on yourself (name, age, city of residence, your motivation for this project) and send your applications to 📣 [email protected]. Be aware that the project language is English.

✨ Was für ein wunderschöner Samstag in Düsseldorf! ✨

Gemeinsam mit unseren wunderbaren Teilnehmerinnen haben wir eine Bootstour gemacht – voller Sonne, Lachen und schöner Gespräche. 🚤☀️💙

Die Frauen haben sich riesig gefreut und die gemeinsame Zeit auf dem Wasser sehr genossen. Solche Momente zeigen, wie wertvoll Begegnung, Austausch und Miteinander sind – genau dafür steht unser Projekt de toi à moi – mit Liebe. ❤️🌍✨

Unsere Projekt witnessing change geht ins Sommerende: Im Projektil Collective Creation in Kooperation mit stellen wir die Frage: Was möchtest du im Viertel verändern?

Gianna klärt gerade die Bedarfe im Viertel für kleine Mikro-Bauprojekte direkt auf der Straße ab: Bank, Blumenbeet – oder etwas ganz anderes, woran wir noch nicht gedacht haben?

Die bunten Tafeln hängen zwar noch nicht lange da – aber wir haben schon alle Hände voll zu tun. Trotzdem interessieren uns natürlich alle Ideen! Legt los :)

Um das Ganze spannender zu machen: haltet Ausschau nach bunten Tafeln mit QR-Codes – besonders leicht zu finden rund um unsere Kooperationspartnerinnen Trash/Treasure Atelier und Raum für künstlerische Forschung – Frappanz.

Über die QR-Codes könnt ihr eure Ideen direkt einbringen. Es funktioniert wirklich – einige sind schon angekommen! 🎉

🚨 Resettlement gestoppt – Deine Stimme zählt!

Seit Mai 2025 Beginn der Koalitionsverhandlungen ist das Resettlement-Programm in Deutschland ausgesetzt. Das bedeutet: Viele besonders schutzbedürftige Geflüchtete, die bereits von der UNHCR anerkannt wurden, dürfen nicht einreisen – und bleiben ohne Perspektive zurück.
Zusätzlich soll das NesT-Programm, ein staatlich-zivilgesellschaftliches Programm für Community-Sponsorship (für besonders schutzbedürftige Geflüchtete z. B. für verwitwete Frauen mit kleinen Kindern), ab 2026 eingestellt werden. Ehrenamtliche Mentor*innen im NesT-Programm bieten diesen Menschen finanzielle und soziale Unterstützung. Sie sind bereit, ihre Mentees aufzunehmen – doch sie werden durch politische Entscheidungen daran gehindert.

📚 Aktuelle EU-Studien (u. a. der EU-Asylagentur und von ICMC Europe) zeigen deutlich: Community Sponsoring ist ein sicherer, wirksamer und solidarischer Weg, um besonders schutzbedürftige Menschen aufzunehmen. Das deutsche NesT-Programm gilt europaweit als Modellprojekt mit Vorbildcharakter. Eine Einstellung dieses Programms wäre ein Rückschritt und würde wichtige Strukturen und Erfahrungen zunichtemachen.
📢 Wir fordern die aktuelle Bundesregierung auf, ihre Bemühungen um ein reguläres und besser kontrolliertes Asylsystem glaubwürdig zu gestalten – nicht durch die Schließung jener Verfahren und Programme, die in diesem fortschrittlichen Bereich bereits wertvolle Erfahrungen gesammelt haben.

Wir unterstützen die Initiative der NesT-Mentor*innen und rufen mit dieser Petition zum Handeln auf – sie steht kurz davor, 100.000 Unterschriften zu erreichen.

Ein Raum für echte Begegnungen – zwischen Frauen aus Guinea 🇬🇳 und Kamerun 🇨🇲, voller Geschichten, Lachen, Austausch über das Leben und die Kulturen, die uns prägen.

Ein wanderndes Projekt – mit vielen Gastgeberinnen, vielen Städten, aber immer mit ganz viel Herz. 💬🌍
