Mother’s Day – For Those Who Are Missing Someone ❤️
For many people, Mother’s Day is a day filled with flowers, breakfast trays, and loving embraces. A day when families come together to say "thank you."
Yet, there are also those for whom this day is not easy—people who live with an empty seat at the table; with memories instead of face-to-face encounters; with a love that remains, even though the person is gone.
Today, we wish to think especially of mothers who have lost their children. Of women whose hearts carry a pain that words can scarcely describe. A mother never ceases to be a mother—not even when her child is no longer by her side. The love remains. Every single day.
And we think also with special tenderness of children—of any age—who have lost their mother. Of people who today can no longer send a text message, make a phone call, or receive a hug. Who perhaps still instinctively reach for the phone, or who suddenly fall silent at the scent of a familiar perfume. Mother’s Day can bring joy. But it can also stir up memories, awaken longing, and bring tears.
Therefore, this day should not be merely loud and cheerful, but also gentle—with space for compassion, for quiet reflection, and for those who are missing someone today.
Perhaps, sometimes, love does not mean holding on to someone—but rather carrying them forward within your heart.
This Mother’s Day belongs to you, too.
To those who are missing someone.
To those who are grieving.
To those who love

At this point, I would also like to take a moment to remember our girls at the St. Agnes Orphanage in Keren, Eritrea, and to ask for your support.
We have finally completed our own website, and I would be grateful if you could forward this link to anyone who does not have a Facebook account.
Thank you very much! ❤️

Im Andenken an unsere liebe Ruth, die viel zu früh von uns gegangen ist und deren Wunsch es immer war, Kindern in Not zu helfen und sie zu unterstützen.
