👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨ Weltag der Eltern – 1. Juni ✨👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Eltern unterstützen, begleiten, ermutigen, hören zu, trösten, erklären, basteln und inspirieren – jeden einzelnen Tag. 💛

Die Vereinten Nationen haben den Global Day of Parents ins Leben gerufen, um die wichtige Rolle von Eltern weltweit sichtbar zu machen und wertzuschätzen.

Der diesjährige Fokus zeigt erneut, wie wichtig es ist, Eltern im Alltag zu unterstützen – nicht nur als Bezugspersonen, sondern auch als Begleiterinnen und Begleiter, Lernende und Vorbilder für die nächste Generation.

🛠️💡 Genau hier setzt unser Erasmus+ Projekt DIY for Parents an. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir praktische Ideen und Materialien, die Eltern dabei unterstützen:
🔨 kreative DIY-Aktivitäten mit ihren Kindern umzusetzen
💻 digitale Tools sinnvoll im Familienalltag zu nutzen
🌱 nachhaltige, kreative und inklusive Familien-Lernerfahrungen zu schaffen

Denn Lernen passiert oft in den einfachsten Momenten – beim Basteln, Reparieren, Entdecken und gemeinsamen Gestalten. ✨

🛠️✨ Werkeln, entdecken, zusammenwachsen – als Familie!

Genau darum geht es in unserem Erasmus+ Projekt DIY for Parents: Eltern durch praktische DIY-Aktivitäten und sinnvolle digitale Bildung zu unterstützen, anzuleiten und zu inspirieren. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💡

Vergangene Woche trafen sich 6 Partnerorganisationen aus 🇵🇱 Polen, 🇮🇹 Italien, 🇪🇸 Spanien, 🇨🇾 Zypern und 🇩🇪 Deutschland in Polen, um gemeinsam die nächsten Schritte des Projekts zu planen und sich darüber auszutauschen, welche Unterstützung Eltern im Alltag wirklich brauchen.

Bis zum Herbst entstehen daraus konkrete Aktivitäten und praktische Materialien, die Erwachsenenbildner dabei unterstützen sollen, Eltern gezielt anzusprechen und ihnen Ideen und Hilfestellungen zu geben:
🔨 DIY-Projekte gemeinsam mit Kindern umsetzen
💻 digitale Tools sinnvoll im Familienalltag nutzen
🌱 Kreativität, Nachhaltigkeit und generationenübergreifendes Lernen fördern

🚀 Leipzig is hosting the next LTTA for the Fit for the Future project!

Between 30 June and 2 July 2026, partners from various European countries will gather in Leipzig for a transnational workshop focusing on:
🌱 Regenerative leadership
🤝 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
🧠 Systems thinking
🔄 Sustainable organisational transformation

Over three days, the LTTA (Learning, Teaching and Training Activity) will facilitate collaborative sessions, discussions, study visits and the sharing of best practices to build more inclusive and future-ready work and learning environments. ✨
📍 Venue: Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft – Leipzig, Germany
📅 30 June – 2 July 2026

Some of the key themes include:
✔ From Sustainability to Regeneration
✔ Bias Awareness and Inclusive Decision-Making

Busy preparing our upcoming training for adult educators as part of the 3H – Head, Heart, Hands project!

We are getting ready to introduce our methodology for starting meaningful conversations about climate change - especially with senior citizens.

Using the 3H approach (Head, Heart, Hands), the training will explore how to create inclusive spaces where older adults can share experiences, reflect together, and engage in practical actions connected to climate change.

Looking forward to exchanging ideas, testing new workshop methods, and empowering educators to facilitate intergenerational dialogue on one of today’s most important topics.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and in public transport, mental wellbeing is not a bonus; it is a foundation.

Bus & tram drivers in Denmark and across Europe face a unique set of daily pressures: managing tight schedules, handling conflicts , and ensuring the safety of every passenger on board. Stress, isolation, and emotional exhaustion are real challenges in this profession.

At Competence+ D/I, stress management is one of our core training modules. Through blended learning, VR simulations, and real-life scenarios, we help transport employees build resilience and emotional skills that make a difference every single day.

A healthier driver means a safer, more inclusive journey for everyone. 🚍✨

This May, let us remember: taking care of the people behind the wheel is taking care of the whole system. 💙

Four inspiring days in Liechtenstein on sustainable project management across adult education, VET, higher education, and school education have come to an end. 🌱🇪🇺
Very grateful to have been part of this TCA as trainer and moderator once again this year. Thank you to AIBA – Erasmus+ Nationale Agentur Liechtenstein for the invitation and excellent organisation, and to all participants from 18 countries for the inspiring exchange throughout the workshop.
Many valuable discussions, perspectives, and practical ideas to take home.
