„Wenn du ein Vogel wärst“ – ein Gedicht von .zhuravlova aus dem zweisprachigen Gedichtband „Vorspiel“ (KLAK Verlag).

Zlata Zhuravlova ist Stipendiatin der und engagiert sich ehrenamtlich in kulturellen Bildungsprojekten zur Integration ukrainischer Jugendlicher in ihrem neuen deutschen Umfeld.

Heute, am Welttag der kulturellen Vielfalt für Dialog und Entwicklung, erinnert uns Zlatas Gedicht daran, wie Sprache und Kunst Grenzen überwinden kann.

Die ukrainische Version des Gedichts findet ihr ganz bald auch auf Zlatas Profil. 🫶

„If You Were a Bird“ – a poem by Zlata Zhuravlova from the bilingual poetry collection „Vorspiel“.
Zlata Zhuravlova is a scholar of the Werner-Schulz Initiative and volunteers in cultural education projects that support the integration of Ukrainian youth in their new German environment. Today, on the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, Zlata’s poem reminds us how language and art can transcend borders.

Wir sprechen mit Alexander Leistner über:  – gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen in Ostdeutschland – bedrohte Kultur- und Demokratieprojekte vor Ort – Menschen, die Verantwortung übernehmen und Demokratie gestalten

Es ist mehr als eine klassische Lesung. Es geht vielmehr ums Zuhören, Austauschen und Mitreden.

40 years after Chernobyl, we asked experts: How did the disaster shape environmental movements – and what does it mean for democracy today?

Prof. Dr. Dr. Felix Ekardt is the chair of BUND Saxony. He prepared and provided legal representation for a constitutional complaint before the Federal Constitutional Court – partly based on this theory of freedom and sustainability – aimed at enforcing compliance with the 1.5-degree climate target under Article 2 of the Paris Agreement. He will serve as the discussion partner for the opening of the International Round Table Conference in october.

40 years after Chernobyl, we asked experts: How did the disaster shape environmental movements – and what does it mean for democracy today?

Since 2014, have been documenting and investigating international crimes and other serious human rights violations committed during the armed conflicts in Ukraine and other regions of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.

Truth Hounds has also contributed to documenting the impact of attacks on energy infrastructure, particularly their cumulative and far-reaching effects on health care in Ukraine.
