Diana was born and raised in Mexico and now lives in Panama City leading the World Scouting Interamerica team 🌎 She joined Scouts at seven as a Cub because it was fun full of friends new skills and adventures and more than 20 years later she is still involved because she believes Scouting truly changes young people’s lives. One of her favourite memories is the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden 2011 and she loves simple games played in a circle that bring everyone together around the campfire or at the table 🤝🔥

Panama was a tour stop full of contrasts and connections 🇵🇦 From humid city heat and the skyline of Panama City to quiet moments in Casco Viejo from rivers and forests near the Canal to powerful camps songs and shared laughter with Scouts. We met families that welcomed us traditions like patacones and sancocho and young people who care deeply about nature and our planet 🌿🔥🌊

Sofia remembers a one night camp in Panama with kayaking ziplining and hiking 🚣‍♀️🧗‍♀️🏃‍♀️ followed by a huge bonfire. They told stories roasted marshmallows and then walked back together before saying goodbye as everyone went their own way with new memories 🔥✨

Vangelis shares how his Greek Scout group joined Scouts for SDGs and actually completed all 17 goals through more than 200 projects. It was an intense time but it changed how they think about everyday life.
