FOTOTREFF BERLIN ist eine Plattform für FotografInnen und BildredakteurInnen und alle, die sich für künstlerische und dokumentarische Fotografie interessieren. Es bietet die Möglichkeit, sich am kritischen Diskurs über die Autorenschaft, das Editieren und das Präsentieren von freien fotografischen Projekten zu beteiligen. Im kuratierten Programm werden renommierte Gäste vorgestellt und alle Teilne

hmerInnen sind herzlich eingeladen, eigene Arbeiten oder entstehende Projekte mitzubringen und vorzustellen.

FOTOTREFF BERLIN is a photographers and editors meeting and open for everybody who is interested in contemporary photography. It is providing a critical discourse and adresses topics such as authorship, editing and presentation from various artistic and documentary perspectives. In the curated program guests are introduced to the participants and you are happily invited to join our meetings to bring your own photographic work and take part in our discussions.

“Die Dinge, die wir tragen – Umbruch, Körper, Widerstand.“ At FOTOTREFF #45, artists Luise Schröder, Dana Lorenz & Sophia Kesting will speak with author and curator Sonia Voss. Drawing on their recent publications, they will exchange views on contemporary photographic perspectives on German-German history and social transformation processes.

We’re very happy to invite you to FOTOTREFF #44 – Banden bilden! Photographic Initiatives in Berlin. Our 44th edition focuses on community: we’re bringing together various photographic initiatives, collectives, and associations from Berlin to present their work and share their perspectives. Alongside institutions and universities, it is especially these self-organized groups that shape and advance the photographic discourse in significant ways. The evening offers space for dialogue, networking, and exchange — and highlights the richness and variety of Berlin’s photographic scene.
