ASCC Thrift Shop

The ASCC Thrift Shop, located in Building 5515 on Katterbach Kaserne across from the Teen Center, is part of the Ansbach Spouses’ & Civilians’ Club (ASCC).

Every purchase helps give back to the community through ASCC programs, events, and scholarships. The ASCC Thrift Shop operates as a non-profit community service, prioritizing the needs of the military community members. All profits generated are reinvested in the community through scholarships, welfare contributions, and donations.

*This is a Non-Federal entity. It is not a part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and it has no governmental status.

Reminder: if you have larger items please do not place them on top of other things inside the bin. This creates a hazard for us to get it out as well as damaging things it’s put on top of. Instead, please bring them inside during opening hours.

Please do not place food pantry donations in the outdoor donation bin. Instead, bring all food items inside the store during business hours and place them in the designated drop boxes.

Recently, some donated food packages were crushed in the outdoor bin, which led to an ant problem. Unfortunately, the damaged food had to be discarded.

When food is damaged, it cannot be distributed to those in need. Thank you for helping us keep donations safe and usable for the community.

As PCS season picks up, donations increase—and we could really use more helping hands!

Our volunteers help sort donations, stock the sales floor, organize items, and keep the shop running smoothly. The more volunteers we have, the more we’re able to get items out onto the floor… and the more funds we can put right back into supporting our community through ASCC programs, events, scholarships, welfare grants, and more.

Whether you can volunteer regularly or just a few hours here and there, every bit helps and makes a difference.
