Dear Iriba Shalom Rwanda,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing with a heart full of gratitude to express my sincerest thanks for the invaluable support you extended to me throughout my university studies. Today, I am proud to say that I have successfully completed my degree in the Faculty of Law, an achievement that would not have been possible without your unwavering assistance.
As a child of the survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, my journey has not been without its challenges. The scars of the past weigh heavily on many of us, especially when it comes to accessing educational opportunities. However, thanks to the generosity and partnership of Iriba Shalom Rwanda with Iriba Shalom International, I have been given the chance to not only pursue higher education but to also build a future full of hope and promise.
The support I received has inspired me to look beyond my own achievements. I am now deeply fond of the youth whom we share history—those who, like I once was, are struggling to access education due to the lasting impacts of the genocide. I am committed to being a beacon of hope for them, just as you have been for me.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for believing in me and for helping me achieve what once seemed impossible. I am confident that the knowledge and skills I have gained will allow me to make a positive impact in the future, not only for myself but for my community as well. I am thrilled to be and stay a part of Iriba Shalom.
Yours sincerely,
