New PA-DIM Brochure Released – Driving Interoperability Across Process Automation

Industrial digitalization depends on one key factor: seamless access to meaningful device data.
With the release of the new PA-DIM brochure, the industry takes another important step toward standardized, interoperable information models for process automation devices.

PA-DIM (Process Automation Device Information Model) defines a protocol-independent, OPC UA-based information model that enables consistent access to device data across systems and vendors.
Developed through close collaboration between leading industry organizations — including FieldComm Group, OPC Foundation, ODVA and PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI) — PA-DIM represents a shared commitment to harmonizing data models and bridging the gap between OT and IT.
