Unsere Initiative lebt von ca. 15 ehrenamtlichen Mitgliedern der Hildesheimer Studierendenschaft, die sich jedes Semester um etwa 100 'Incomings' kümmern!

Wir sind immer auf der Suche nach neuen Mitgliedern, die Interesse am Knüpfen internationaler Kontakte haben und unser Team bei den unterschiedlichsten Projekten unterstützen möchten! Unsere Arbeit ist dabei eine ideale Vorbereitung für zukünftige 'Outgoings' und wirkt auch wie ein Wundermittel gegen Fernweh nach bereits absolviertem Auslandssemester. Aber auch Studierende, die einfach gerne ihre Fremsprachenkenntnisse verbessern möchten oder sich in organisatorischen und kreativen Aufgaben austoben möchten, sind bei uns herzlich Willkommen! Level up!
Join us to the top of the highest church tower of Lower Saxony! Prepare for an adventurous ascent, vibe a bit with the vantage point’s view and get down all the 364 steps back again.

We’re meeting at 12 PM in front of the entrance of St. Andreas coming from Schuhstraße.
Please bring the entry fee of 3€ and your student identification. The whole tour will not take longer than 1.5 hours. Afterwards there will be the possibility to try good coffee and cake.

Hello everybody! This upcoming Sunday we want to invite you to our classic Deister Hike!
More of a long and relaxed walk, we will visit the surrounding country, explore a miniature village and take a break on the Deister’s peak next to a tower. There is also a restaurant where we can regenerate and take a quick breather (that is what the cash is for!) before going downhill again.
Also take solid footwork, something to drink (and snack if you need to!) and according to the weather app it will be a cloudy day, so bring some jackets (fingers crossed).
The train leaves at 8:44 AM, so please be on time! See you there!

Come with us to the brewery! 🍻
On the 2nd of May we meet for a beer tasting and guided tour of the brewery in the historic "Wasserwerk"! 🍺 Depending on the weather, you may also stay in the beautiful Biergarten (beer garden) afterwards. ☀️🌳

‼️ *4 drinks are included in the price!
You can choose between beer and various homemade lemonades. 🍋 If you want, you can take one beer home with you.
Hungry people can bring their own food or dine some previously latinx-approved tacos (~10€)

Tour starts at 2pm, so be on time!! ⏳️

If you like intercultural interactions and fun events you should consider becoming a part of our ESN Hildesheim team! Everyone is welcome to join and the meetings will be held in English to keep the language barrier low. Every Tuesday we meet at 6 pm at the Bühler Campus!

Time is flying and the summer semester is already around the corner. In less than two weeks we're going to start with our first event and we're excited to see you there.

But before, we will also meet you in person during the welcome week and tell you all about our cool events and trips! So, see you soon!

Are you a sports fanatic and would like to compete in the International Erasmus Games? 😍🌍🤸🏻‍♀️

The International Erasmus Games (IEG) is the biggest health and well-being related event of ESN. Higher education students who are studying abroad in any of ESN NOs unite to promote sports as a universal language which is understood by everyone!

The IEG will be taking place in Coimbra, Portugal, from 12th to 15th of May 2022, and this will be your ultimate opportunity to meet members of ESN from 42 countries and over 500 ESN sections!

The selected disciplines are Futsal(5x5), Volleyball(6x6), Basketball(5x5), Men’s 100m Sprint, Women’s 100m Sprint, Men’s 1500m and Women’s 1500m.

If you would like to become part of the German team, you can send us an email ([email protected]) and we'll pass on your interest. Once you have been officially approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

The participation fee is expected to be around 30€. However, as more time is needed to negotiate with partners, the final participation fee will be announced by February 26th.

**Event Update**

Due to the current Covid situation we unfortunately have to cancel our KAB that was supposed to take place next week 😢

Since there's no other events to register or pay for, there will be no more office hours. If you still want to get an ESNcard though, you can just send us a message via WhatsApp or Instagram and we'll schedule an appointment :)
