Im 2013 gegründet als ERASMUSinitiative Heidelberg sind wir seit Januar 2014 stolzes Mitglied der ESN Familie. Das Erasmus Student Network (ESN) ist eine der größten interdisziplinären Studierendenorganisationen in Europa und die wichtigste im Bereich der Internationalen Hochschulbildung. ESN wurde auf internationaler Ebene 1989, also zwei Jahre nach Start des offiziellen ERASMUS-Programms, gegrün

det und ist mittlerweile an mehr als 500 Hochschulen in 42 Ländern vertreten und unterstützt mehrere hunderttausend Studierende. Mit der ehrenamtlichen Arbeit an derzeit 39 Standorten erreichen und betreuen wir über 20.000 Austauschstudierende. Dann schreibt uns einfach unter:

📍 Ice House in Eppelheim (Rudolf-Diesel-Straße 20, 69124 Eppelheim; tram line 22 goes to the nearby stop „Kirchheimer Straße“)

ESN Heidelberg is a non-profit organization and part of the Erasmus Student Network, which operates all over Europe. 🏰5 Castles Hike - Into the Heart of Neckar Valley ☀️

✨️ Join us for a scenic and story-rich journey through one of the Neckar Valley’s most enchanting regions. This guided hike takes you through forest trails, castle ruins, and riverside paths, all while uncovering the history and legends of Dilsberg and Neckarsteinach.

🗒 About the hike:
Duration: 4-5 hours (including breaks)
Total Incline: 350 m
Difficulty: Beginner
Intensity: Moderate

💡 What to bring:
Hiking Shoes

👞 We begin with a climb to Dilsberg Castle, offering panoramic views of the valley and our first major break. As we make our stops, your Hikemasters shall guide you through the region’s rich history and the significance of the 5 castles.

✨️ Brewery tour at Klosterhof 🍺

🤓 You surely know already, beer is an important drink in Germany but do you know how it is made?

🍻 Come with us to visit a local organic brewery where we will learn about the craftsmanship of brewing, different styles of beer and how the small breweries, such as their beer, are very different from the big companies. Afterwards we’ll have a beer tasting with a generous amount of beer to drink and a bit of Laugengebäck as a picnic. The time is limited to 2 hours but the beer is not! 😜
