The people closest to a problem are usually the best ones to solve it.

Human Connector Incubator exists to make sure they can.

5 leaders. 8 months. One city.

It's not a course, not a bunch of workshops. HCI is a journey, side by side, through the messy middle of building something that matters.

These five came as strangers on a call. Now they're diving into the first of three program phases: RESEARCH. And they're doing it the Kollektiv way, by actually talking to people. 😉

connects migrants to professional and civic life in Hamburg.

Together in Hamburg, they share networks, resources, and each other.
Because the best things get built when you don't have to figure it out alone.

We asked them to bring as many blue things as they could find.

Some came with two. Some with ten.

Because sometimes we have more. Sometimes less.

And yet, when we put it all together, we can share. The knowledge, the skills, the energy.

And when one person needs a lift, the others have something to give.

Last week, five strangers got on a Human Connector Incubator call facilitated by Natalia Kinga.

By the end, they knew each other's stories, why they do what they do, and how many blue things each of them owns.

And somewhere in between, we all learned that unicorn octopuses exist. 🐙

What connects them: they all build in Hamburg. And every one of them works on the topic they know from the inside.

Meet the first HCI cohort 🎊 :

Anissa Rached — builds support networks for isolated mothers.
Iveta Gogava — connects migrants to professional and civic life in Hamburg.
Izmir Henry Sánchez — creates community spaces for Spanish-speaking women in Germany.

We're back. And we're building something new 🌱

In November, we shared that Kontakt Kollektiv was facing a difficult financial situation.
Then you showed up. Donations. Support. Messages that said "keep going."

In December, we secured funding. And since then, we've been building this:
The Human Connector Incubator.

An 8-month program where people don't just learn about community building, they actually DO it.

Build real projects. Interview real stakeholders. Write real applications. Get real support.

Your project could be:
→ A support circle for single parents
→ Mental health services for LGBTQ+ folks
→ A men's group for real conversations
→ Connection projects for newcomers
→ Psychological safety at work
Anything that brings people closer together.

What you'll do:
• Market research through stakeholder interviews
• Community event coordination
• Funding strategy and application support
• Mentorship and accountability
• A community that has your back

First cohort: 3-5 projects, 12 people, Hamburg area.

At the very core, belonging means recognising each other’s humanity - across borders, identities, and politics.

The UN has now confirmed genocide in Gaza. Behind every statistic are human beings. People like us and our beloved ones at home - people who dreamed, created, loved, and connected just like we do.

This is a human crisis.

And when governments fail, people must step in: to speak, to act, to connect, and to insist on accountability.

Our values call us to:
✨ Stand against dehumanisation, wherever it occurs
✨ Create spaces where silenced voices are heard
✨ Hold systems and leaders accountable for harm
✨ Practise solidarity as an everyday act of belonging

We cannot undo the past. But we can choose who we become now - people who refuse to look away.

For people of Palestine. For humanity. For the possibility of a world where everyone belongs.
