🌍 E.P.A. in collaboration with our amazing partner Moltivolti from Palermo, Sicily 🇮🇹 is currently holding an International Seminar — only two days left until the end!

✨ Theme: “Embracing Human Rights in the inspiring light of Sicilia”
(“Come abbracciare i Diritti Umani, rispettare la diversità e riflettere insieme nella luce della Sicilia”)

Participants from across different countries came together to explore:
📖 The History of Human Rights
🎲 Interactive games and creative activities connected to Human Rights
💬 And most importantly — learning from each other, sharing experiences, cultures, and values.

Together, we are discovering how to embrace diversity and respect human dignity — inspired by the warmth and light of Sicily. ☀️❤️

🌍 Time to Move – Kick-off Workshop 🌍

Yesterday, our youth group at the epa / Europa JUGEND Büro met for the first time in the Intercultural Salon as part of Eurodesk’s “Time to Move” campaign — a Europe-wide initiative for democracy, peace and cosmopolitanism.

Together, we explored one big question:
➡️ What does it take to be open, peaceful and connected in today’s world?

Through creative discussions and shared ideas, we looked at how young people in Hamburg and across Europe can help ensure that our continent stays democratic, united and peaceful. 🌈🤝

We also asked ourselves:
✨ Where are young people active — online and in Hamburg? What inspires them?
✨ How can the key moments of youth exchanges be brought home — and made to last?

These ideas are just the beginning — the first step in an ongoing journey 💥
Together, we’ll bring them to life in a playful and colourful way, creating something lasting for Hamburg — a reminder that peaceful coexistence begins with each of us. 🌈💪

🌈 The International Youth Exchange in Tettenborn-Hamburg has come to an end!
This exchange brought together 57 participants from Finland, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Romania, England, and Germany.
The theme: “Triangle of Body-Mind-Society: The Balance Within and Beyond!”

Here’s what some participants from the host group shared:
❤️It is very important to keep balance between Body, Mind and Society
🧡There is no “the” balance, there is only “a” balance
💛Everyone’s balance is individual
💚Finding a balance is not a destination it is a journey
🩵To find it, you need to reflect: What do you eat? Do you do sports? Where do you work? Who are your friends?
💙Balance is never permanent — it shifts, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. And that’s the beauty of it.

The program was full of workshops, energizers, intercultural evenings, creative games, and even special activities like ziplining and canoeing to explore balance in action.
A unique highlight was the conference organized by the participants themselves, with guests from Hamburg authorities and youth workers from various organizations.
And of course, the exchange was filled with joy, heartfelt talks, and friendships that will stay with us forever.

🌍 Beyond the activities, we learned something greater: balance is not just about ourselves, it’s about how we connect with each other. Every step we take together makes the world a little more balanced — and a little brighter 🌈

International & Intercultural Youth Conference – August 23, Hamburg

– Build strong international networks

🌍✨ International Youth Exchange is happening right now! ✨🌍
Organized by EPA Network together with our amazing host partner Eco-Estilistas, this exchange has brought together 60 young people from youth communities in Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and Germany.

📍 All of this is taking place in a safe and inspiring environment in Luso-Lisbon, Portugal.

🧠💬 The theme of the exchange:
“Inclusão starts with inter-acção, Let’s dare to share!!”
Here’s what some of our host group participants say about it:
🗣 “I think we could start with interaction because we need to do something, start something to help each other.”

💡 Each group led a creative workshop around the central theme, bringing unique insights and perspectives.

🤝 Participants also engaged with local authorities, sharing best practices as active European citizens during official receptions.
🎙 And thanks to Eco-Estilistas’ own project – Radio Zip, participants spread their ideas through the airwaves and social media! (What an amazing project!)

🎲💞 Of course, the exchange was full of fun, inclusive and educational games that built strong, lasting friendships across borders.

📅 In just a few days, the exchange will come to an end, and participants will return home — taking unforgettable memories and new connections with them.
