Small clean-up, big purpose. 💙🌊

Every piece collected matters. Plastic left behind on beaches can slowly break down into microplastics, affecting marine life, coastal ecosystems, and the places we all love to visit.

This clean-up was a reminder that impact is not only measured by numbers, but by the willingness to show up, care, and take action.

Thank you to everyone who joined and helped protect Mallorca’s coastline. Every small action brings us one step closer to cleaner beaches and a healthier ocean.

Huge thanks to our amazing MBRC Tanzania team and all volunteers who joined the clean-up at Salenda Bridge on 25.04.2026. 💙🌊

Together, 81 volunteers came together to protect the coastline, remove waste from the environment, and raise awareness for the importance of keeping our beaches, rivers, and ocean clean.

The result of this incredible community effort:
✅ 400 bags filled
✅ 248m of coastline cleared
✅ 2.6 tons of trash collected
✅ 1.9 tons of plastic removed

Every bag collected, every piece of plastic removed, and every hour volunteered makes a real difference. Clean-ups like this are not only about removing waste, but also about inspiring action, strengthening local communities, and showing what is possible when people come together for a shared purpose.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, supported, and helped make this clean-up possible. Your commitment, energy, and dedication are truly appreciated. Together, we are creating cleaner coastlines and a healthier ocean. 🌍💙

For us, Earth Day is about cleaner beaches, healthier oceans, and collective impact. Because protecting the Earth also means protecting the waters that give life, connect communities, and carry our future.

From Leisure Beach to Swahili Beach in Kenya, over a stretch of 1.8 km, we collected 64.3 kg of waste from the coastline. 🌊♻️

Every clean-up is a reminder that small actions on the ground create real impact. Cleaner beaches mean healthier marine ecosystems, stronger communities, and greater awareness of the importance of protecting our ocean.

Together, we collected an incredible 313 kg of waste during our latest clean-up. A huge thank you to our amazing volunteer group and our dedicated MBRC ambassadors in Brazil for their energy, commitment, and hard work. 💪
