Hungary showed up and went all in. 🇭🇺💪🌊
At Árasztó Part in Budapest, 31 volunteers took on a cleanup that was anything but easy. With low water levels exposing hidden waste, the team climbed, lifted, searched the riverbank and even went underwater to recover trash from the Danube. 🤿

The result? 750 kg of waste removed, 27 bags filled, 50 plastic bottles collected — plus rusted metal, cables and even an excavator bucket pulled from the river. 😮

A huge thank you to everyone who brought the energy and made this impact possible. This is what teamwork looks like. 💙

🌊 Big energy, bigger impact at Coco Beach! 💪♻️

On 27 July, amazing volunteers came together in Tanzania to give the sandy and rocky shoreline of Coco Beach a much-needed cleanup. In just one action, the team filled 49 bags and removed an incredible 406 kg of waste, including 1,044 plastic bottles. Even an engine part was found along the way! 😲

A huge thank you to Casto and every volunteer who showed up, got their hands dirty and helped stop waste before it could reach the ocean. Every bottle collected and every bag filled makes a real difference. 💙

One hour. 25+ volunteers. More than 45 kg of trash collected. 🤯🌊

On 19 July, our incredible volunteers came together in Lindau to clean up the parks surrounding Lake Constance, the paths along the water and the litter that had already reached the shoreline.

A large share of the waste found in Lake Constance originally comes from litter carelessly left on land. That is exactly why clean-ups like this matter: every bottle, cigarette butt and piece of plastic removed from the ground is one less item that can enter the lake.
The impact created in just one hour was absolutely incredible. 💙

A huge thank you to every single volunteer who showed up, got involved and made this clean-up possible. Together, you proved how much can be achieved when a community takes action.

Plastic pollution continues to affect coastlines and communities across Tanzania and Kenya — but so does the determination to create change. 🌊

These moments are a reminder that clean-ups are about more than removing waste. They bring people together, raise awareness and show what is possible when communities take responsibility for their environment.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who continue to give their time and energy to protect beaches and waterways across East Africa.

A new generation taking action in Nindorf! 💙

Our MBRC Ambassador Lukas recently organised a local clean-up together with students in Nindorf, Germany. Equipped with grabbers, bags and plenty of motivation, the group worked together to collect litter and make their community a little cleaner.

Beyond the waste collected, clean-ups like this help young people experience how rewarding environmental action can be. Every bottle picked up and every conversation started contributes to greater awareness and lasting change.

Together for a cleaner coastline on Sylt! 🌊💙

On 13 June 2026, 37 volunteers came together in Rantum, Sylt, to take action for our environment. Starting from ADS Schullandheim Rantum, the team helped protect the island’s unique nature, beautiful coastline, and fragile coastal ecosystem.

A big thank you to everyone who joined and showed that every action counts. By coming together as a community, we can help preserve places like Sylt for future generations — one clean-up at a time. 🌍✨
