Opera On Tap (OOT) is an organization that brings opera to new audiences. Opera on Tap (OOT) was started in 2005 at Freddy’s Bar in NYC.

What began as a small monthly gathering of ambitious, classically trained singers looking for more performance opportunities, has grown into an organization with over 20 chapters in the United States and 1 in Berlin. Following in the success of the Berlin chapter, we aim to bring Hamburg into the OOT Deutschland community by way of high quality/ low cost performances where people can come to relax and enjoy, b**r in hand. Seine Anfänge fand "Opera On Tap" 2005 in Freddy's Bar in New York City.
