You want to get to know students and the university? You are a student or would like to study? Then this is your place to be!

The Refugees Welcome Café-Website is a Guide run by students of the University of Hamburg to share information about coming events, demonstrations and information concerning refugee- related matters, with a focus on northern Germany. We are students from Hamburg and we would like to invite you to our “Refugees Welcome Café”. This continual event is for all refugees who are interested in meeting students from Hamburg. We consider the Refugees Welcome Cafe a place of open exchange where everyone can meet new people and get to know each other, and also a place to meet again and to have a good time. If you have questions concerning university studies or life in Hamburg, we'll try our best to answer them or we'll forward you to someone who can. We will also provide information on how to get involved in university life in Hamburg. Most of all, we are there to meet you and get to know each other! The café is part of the student initiative "SoFiH", which is a group that supports refugees and their political claims.
