Vienna Grand Forum 2026: Strong People Build Strong Bridges for Ukraine

Last weekend, from 8–10 May 2026, the Vienna Grand Forum 2026 brought together entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and friends of Ukraine from across Europe.

Supporting Ukraine is not only a matter of government decisions, political declarations, or institutional frameworks. It is also driven by strong people, personal commitment, trusted networks, and friendships that create real bridges between countries.

A heartfelt thank you to Ukrainian-European Business Hub,
Daria Didkovska and to our friends in Vienna for their dedication, energy, and commitment to building this Ukrainian-European Business Hub.

Events like this show how important it is to connect business, civil society, and personal responsibility — especially in times when Ukraine needs reliable partners, practical cooperation, and long-term European support.
We are grateful to have been part of this network and the exchange in Vienna, and I look forward to developing concrete opportunities for cooperation from the many valuable conversations.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with Ukraine — with words, with action, and with heart.

24.02. - Four years ago, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Four years of courage. Four years of loss. Four years of unwavering resistance.

Today we remember the lives taken, the families displaced, and the cities destroyed — and we reaffirm what matters: Ukraine’s freedom, sovereignty, and future in Europe.

At European Ukrainian Bridge (EUB) e.V., we stand with Ukraine — in solidarity, in action, and in long-term commitment.

Support must continue: humanitarian aid, protection of civilians, accountability for war crimes, and sustained assistance for reconstruction.

Heute waren wir als Europäische Ukrainische Brücke (EUB) e.V. bei Café Kyiv 2026 in Berlin dabei – mit eigenem Stand und einem Pitch im Political-Conference-Programm. Das Café Kyiv (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung) bringt erneut Akteur:innen aus Politik, Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Zivilgesellschaft zusammen – mit Fokus auf Freiheit, Sicherheit und Wiederaufbau der Ukraine.

Unser Highlight:
🎤 Pitch (Silent Stage): “Social Entrepreneurship in Wartime: When Trade Meets Aid – Golden Ukraine Charity Brand for Strengthening Ukrainian Resilience”

Am Stand hatten wir viele starke Gespräche über:

konkrete Hilfs- und Wiederaufbauprojekte,

belastbare Partnerschaften zwischen Deutschland & Ukraine,

und wie Trade + Aid gemeinsam Wirkung entfalten können.

Danke an alle, die vorbeigekommen sind, mitdiskutiert, Kontakte geteilt und Ideen angestoßen haben. Lasst uns das Momentum nutzen – für resilientere Lieferketten, echte Kooperationen und messbaren Impact.

Resilienz entsteht nicht nur im Inneren – sie wächst vor allem dort, wo Menschen sich verbinden, einander zuhören und in schwierigen Zeiten gemeinsam handlungsfähig bleiben.

Beim Doppel-Event „Civil Front – oh, what a wonderful world“ im LICHTHOF Theater Hamburg stand genau dieses Miteinander im Mittelpunkt:
Wie tragen transnationale Partnerschaften, wenn Zeiten kompliziert werden? Und warum lohnt es sich gerade dann, Brücken zu bauen – zwischen Städten, Ländern, Kultur und Zivilgesellschaft?

Auf dem Podium wurde das aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln diskutiert. Und spätestens bei der anschließenden Live-Theaterübertragung aus Kharkiv wurde spürbar, wie kraftvoll Kultur sein kann: als Verbindung, als Orientierung, als gemeinsames Verstehen der Welt.
Danke an allen Beteiligten und Gästen für die Offenheit, die Präsenz und die Energie.

Wir freuen uns, dass wir gemeinsam als European Ukrainian Bridge EUB Teil dieses Abends sein durften. Wir bleiben dran – und hoffen auf eine Wiederholung.

European Ukrainian Bridge e.V. – Update aus Warschau

Vom 13. bis 14. November 2025 waren wir auf der ReBuild Ukraine Conference in Warschau vertreten – einem zentralen Treffpunkt für Entscheidungsträger und Organisationen, die gemeinsam am Wiederaufbau der Ukraine arbeiten.

In zahlreichen Gesprächen mit Vertreterinnen und Vertretern ukrainischer Institutionen konnten wir bestehende Partnerschaften vertiefen und neue Impulse setzen.

Ein wichtiges Ergebnis der Reise:

Wir haben ein Memorandum of Understanding mit Crowd Ukraine Invest AG Ukraine als neuem Social Partner unterzeichnet. Gemeinsam engagieren wir uns für Humanitäre Hilfe, Wiederaufbau, Energiesicherheit, Bauprojekte und europäische Kooperation.

Ein zusätzliches Highlight:

Unser Charity-Wein „Golden Ukraine“ wurde in Warschau vorgestellt – und kam hervorragend an. Die Einnahmen fließen direkt in unsere Projekte.

Unser Auftrag bleibt unverändert:

European Ukrainian Bridge e.V. – Update from Warsaw

From 13 to 14 November 2025, we participated in the ReBuild Ukraine Conference in Warsaw, a key platform bringing together decision-makers and institutions committed to Ukraine’s recovery.

We held productive meetings with numerous representatives of Ukrainian institutions, strengthening existing partnerships and opening new avenues for collaboration.

A major milestone:

We signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Crowd Ukraine as our new Social Partner. Together, we will support initiatives in humanitarian aid, reconstruction, energy security, construction projects, and European cooperation.

Another highlight:

We proudly presented our Golden Ukraine charity wine, which received outstanding feedback in Warsaw. All proceeds directly support our humanitarian and reconstruction work.

Our mission remains clear:

Creating hope. Providing help. Serving humanity.

For Ukraine. For Europe.

Our 2025 General Assembly marks a strong year of collaboration and solidarity with Ukraine. 🇺🇦🤝🇪🇺
We warmly thank Mariia Mamina, who is stepping down from the Board but will continue to support us as the representative of our Czech Office.

At the same time, we welcome Natascha Grams as our new Deputy Chairwoman and Stefan Schölermann, who will enrich EUB with his expertise in media and public relations. 🎙️

Highlights of the Year:
✨ Ukraine Expert Conference on Civil Society, Resilience & Reconstruction with over 200 international participants in Berlin together with Be an Angel e.V. (Andreas Tölke)
🎁 Hasbro Donation Campaign worth (20 trucks) in cooperation with the Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) (Michael Capponi)
🏛️ EU-UA Partnership Summit in Brussels with 120 participants from business, politics, and civil society in cooperation with Metadidomi Foundation (Leander van Gorsel) and U Nation (Yan Shapiro)

Roderich Kiesewetter, Bundestagsabgeordneter und engagierter Außen- und Sicherheitspolitiker, richtet sich mit klaren Worten an die Europäisch Ukrainische Brücke EUB e.V.. .
