YOUNION 2025 cancelled

Meetingpoint Memory Messiaen e.V. regrets to announce that the intercultural youth project YOUNION 2025 will not take place due to funding challenges.

Since nearly two decades, YOUNION (formerly Worcation) has brought together young people from across Europe to explore memory culture, human rights, and democracy at the site of the former POW camp Stalag VIII A.

While the cancellation is disappointing, it opens space for rethinking. Preparations for YOUNION 2026 have already started!

In 2025, the association will focus on adult education and new formats of remembrance work – but youth engagement remains a key pillar.

Thank you to all partners and supporters – see you soon with new ideas!

You can register your interest in attending via the following link. Further information and details about the encounter will be published in the coming weeks. Further information about the project can be found at www.mmm-younion.eu
