See you again in 2026! We, the Polish and German musicians of the "Lausitzer Barockensemble" and the "Compagnia Sassone", will rediscover another treasure from the archives of King Augustus the Strong of Poland and invite many more artists from across Europe to join us for singing, playing music, and dancing to the baroque music of Dresden and Warsaw.

Wir sehen uns 2026 wieder. Wir, die polnischen und deutschen Musiker des Lausitzer Barockensembles und der Compagnia Sassone, werden eine weitere Kostbarkeit aus den Archiven König Augusts des Starken von Polen wiederentdecken und viele weitere Künstler aus ganz Europa zum gemeinsamen Singen, Musizieren und Tanzen einladen.

It was a wonderful project. Reviving forgotten heritage, fulling it with new life, with music. Working in the nature, in beautiful countryside, learning each other, helping each other: the final result was really amazing. Thank you Fundacja Twoje Dziedzictwo, thank you wonderful musicians, Elvire Beekhuizen (Serpina), Mikolaj Bonkowski (Uberto), Bogdan Nowak (Vespone), Szczepan Dembinksi (concertmaster and conductor), Susan Joseph (recorder), the musicians of Das Lausitzer Barockensemble: Mateusz Janus, Kacper Szpot, Dominika Garncarz, Klaudyna Zolnierek, Marcin Bajon and Adam Piotr Rorat. We builded a wonderful team!

🇬🇧🇩🇪🇵🇱 In a few days, the new "Saxon company" will meet in Görlitz-Zgorzelec for the first time. The first musicians travel to Görlitz from Vienna, Den Haag, Kraków, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Boleslawiec and Poznan. They spend the nights partly in our guest rooms and those of the trusty friend of the association Mrs. Gabriele Albrecht (Thank you, dear friend 🙏). In Augusta-Salon the musicians will not only be able to rehearse, work, improvise, speak and practice, but also spend time together, for example having lunch and dinner together. The stage rehearsals will take place in Herrenhaus Gosswitz not far Goerlitz, wir thank Mr Klaus von Kobylinski for this possibility.
The rest of the musicians stay in guest rooms in both Görlitz and Zgorzelec on the Neisse. We welcome everyone to our beautiful European city!

🇩🇪 In wenigen Tagen trifft sich die neue „Sächsische Kompanie“ erstmals in Görlitz-Zgorzelec. Die ersten Musiker reisen aus Wien, Den Haag, Krakau, Warschau, Breslau und Posen nach Görlitz. Sie übernachten teilweise in unseren Gästezimmern und denen der treuen Vereinsfreundin Frau Gabriele Albrecht. Im Augusta-Salon können die Musiker nicht nur proben, arbeiten, improvisieren, sprechen und üben, sondern auch Zeit miteinander verbringen, zum Beispiel beim gemeinsamen Mittag- und Abendessen. Die szenische Proben werden im Herrenhaus Gosswitz stattfinden, dafür danken wir Herrn von Kobylinski.
Der Rest der Musiker wohnt in Gästezimmern sowohl in Görlitz als auch in Zgorzelec an der Neiße. Wir heißen alle in unserer schönen Europastadt willkommen!

Die Mobilität des Projekts wurde von der Europäischen Union gefördert und vom Goethe-Institut umgesetzt. (Kultur bewegt Europa), was für uns eine große Ehre ist.

🇵🇱 Już za kilka dni w Görlitz-Zgorzelcu po raz pierwszy spotka się nowa „saksońska kompania operowa”. Pierwsi muzycy przyjeżdżają do Görlitz z Wiednia, Hagi, Krakowa, Warszawy, Wrocławia, Bolesławca i Poznania. Nocują częściowo w pokojach gościnnych naszych oraz zaufanej przyjaciółki stowarzyszenia p. Gabriele Albrecht (Dziękujemy, droga koleżanko 🙏). W Augusta-Salon muzycy będą mogli nie tylko odbywać próby, pracować, improwizować, przemawiać i ćwiczyć, ale także wspólnie spędzać czas, np. wspólnie jedząc obiady i kolacje. Próby szczeniczne odbędą się w Gosswitz koło Goerlitz, za to dziękujemy pana Klausa von Kobylinskiego za pomoc.
Pozostali muzycy przebywają w pokojach gościnnych zarówno w Görlitz, jak i Zgorzelcu nad Nysą. Witamy wszystkich w naszym pięknym europejskim mieście!

Gestern haben wir im Herrenhaus Gosswitz mit den Proben für „Serva padrona“ begonnen. Dieses Herrenhaus ist ideal für die „Sächsische Kompagnie“ und verfügt über enormes Potenzial. Der große Salon, der in zwei Teile geteilt ist, von denen einer als Bühne und der zweite als Zuschauerraum (für ca. 50 Zuschauer) genutzt werden kann, ist voller wunderschöner historischer Möbel und Requisiten, die einen idealen Rahmen für nahezu jedes Kammerspiel bieten. Das Haus war damals eine Behindertenklinik und verfügt im ersten Stock über viele Zimmer, in denen die Künstler übernachten könnten. Aber diese Zimmer müssen (wie das ganze Denkmal) renoviert werden. Drittens verfügt der neue Eigentümer des Hauses über 4 Klaviere und Flügel. Zusammen mit unserem Petrof gibt es 5 Instrumente im Haus!
Die Oberlausitzer Natur in Reichenbach ist magisch. Wir hoffen, diesen Ort zu unserem festen Arbeitsplatz zu machen.

🇬🇧 Yesterday we started rehearsals for "Serva padrona" in the Gosswitz mansion. This mansion is ideal for the "Saxon Company" and has enormous potential. The large salon, which is divided into two parts, one of which can be used as a stage and the second as an auditorium (for around 50 spectators), is full of beautiful historical furniture and props, providing an ideal setting for almost any chamber play. The house is a former clinic for the disabled and has many rooms on the first floor where the artists could sleep. But these rooms (like the whole monument) need to be renovated. Third, the new owner of the house has 4 upright and grand pianos. Together with our Petrof there are 5 instruments in the house!
The Oberlausitz nature in Reichenbach is magical. We hope to make this place our permanent place of work.

Today we start the project "We found the Saxon company", which is co-financed by the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony (Kultirstiftung des Freistaat Sachsen) and also receives support from the European Union, since five musicians who come from far away will be supported by the fund "Culture moves Europe".
At 7 p.m. we go to Google Meet and go through the score with producer Eleni Ioannidou, concertmaster Szczepan Dembinski, the two singers Mikolaj Bonkowski (Uberto) and Elvire Beekhuizen (Serpina) as well as Adam Rorat and Klaudyna Zolnierek (Theorbo), who will play with Szczepan (baroque cello) continuo.
This will be an amazing journey that will end with the preparation of Pergolesi's "Serva Padrona".

🇩🇪 Heute starten wir das Projekt „Wir gründen die Sächische Kompagnie“, das von der Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen mitfinanziert wird und auch die Unterstützung der Europäischen Union erhält, da fünf Musiker, die von weit her kommen, finanziell mit Hilfe des Fonds „Culture moves Europe“ unterstützt werden. Um 19 Uhr gehen wir zu Google-Meet und besprechen die Musik mit Produzentin Eleni Ioannidou, Konzertmeister Szczepan Dembinski, den beiden Sängern Mikolaj Bonkowski (Uberto) und Elvire Beekhuizen (Serpina) sowie Adam Rorat und Klaudyna Zolnierek (Theorbe), die mit Szczepan (Barockcello) Continuo spielen.
Das wird eine erstaunliche Reise sein, die mit der Vorbereitung von Pergolesis „Serva padrona“ enden wird.
