Last weekend there was HAMRADIO fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany. It was great to see so many LARA members in one place at once.

Since we recently got many new members there was proposition to form a council to discuss different ideas what we can do as organisation. We already have our HF and VHF manager Edmondo 1L0VE and Leo 1L0LIB, but we would like to include all members who would like to contribute their ideas and shape what LARA looks like and in what activities it engages. So whoever would like join the council, please let us know on our email [email protected]

Today on 18th April we celebrate World Amateur Radio day! On this day exactly 100 years ago International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) was founded.

A hobby which is more than just that connects people all over the world and has over 3 million active members. Out of that we also this year crossed 100 members of LARA.

Let's celebrate this day with some nice QSOs.
