Damit der Freisinger Wochenmarkt für alle Besucherinnen und Besucher sicher und entspannt bleibt, hat die Stadt Freising die Beschilderung im Marktbereich erweitert. Zusätzliche Verkehrszeichen machen die bereits geltenden Regelungen nun noch besser sichtbar.

❗ Haltet euch an die Verkehrsregeln und steigt im gekennzeichneten Bereich mit dem Fahrrad oder E-Scooter ab. Mit ein wenig Rücksichtnahme tragen wir alle dazu bei, dass sich Menschen jeden Alters auf dem Wochenmarkt sicher bewegen können.

Did you know one of the most recognisable Dutch cycling innovations is now helping people on bikes in Portland, Oregon?

Through a collaboration between the Dutch Cycling Embassy, the Portland Bureau of Transportation, and our network partner Technolution, Dutch-style countdown timers were introduced to give cyclists greater certainty while waiting at traffic lights.

The results have been encouraging, with research showing fewer red-light violations and a better experience for people cycling. Now, Portland hopes the findings will help pave the way for wider adoption across the United States.

Schlechtes Vorbild: Fahrschulauto parkt wiederholt auf Fußgängerweg Dass in der Freisinger Innenstadt im verkehrsberuhigten Bereich schamlos geparkt (= mehr als 3 Minuten halten) wird, daran hat man sich ja leider fast schon gewöhnt.Da helfen scheinbar auch die gutgemeinten Flyer der Stadtverwalt...
