Tết Trung Thu 🌙🏮🥮

In Vietnam, the Mid-Autumn Festival (Tết Trung Thu) isn’t just a normal holiday. It’s a celebration made especially for Children.

Autumn nights when the streets glow with colorful lanterns, the cool air fills with drums, dances and happiness, and every child gets to feel like a little hero under the full moon.

We at Chance to Grow wish all who are celebrating Tết Trung Thu a festival full of laughter, warmth, and a great sense of togetherness.

Whether you are lantern-walking with children, sharing mooncakes with family, or simply looking up at the glowing sky from afar, may this festival bring you peace, joy, and a heart full of hope. 💚

Girls' Education 💚🌱

Here is an initial update on the 2026/27 school year.

Together with our partner Bông we are implementing the Girls’ Education program, which aims to educate, train and support young girls mentally and academically.

Despite the progress made so far, the programme faces several challenges:

🔴 Limited resources: There are more students who need a scholarship than there are funds available.

🔴 Geographical barriers: It is difficult to conduct regular home visits by our social workers because some children live in remote rural areas.

🔴 Parental awareness: The limited awareness of the long-term value of education can influence parent’s willingness to support their daughters in continuing their studies.

In response, our team continues to engage closely with families, schools, and local communities to strengthen communication and timely follow-up. Through this engagement, the program aims to go beyond financial assistance by helping create a supportive environment where girls can stay in school, develop their potential, and move towards a more confident future.

Girls’ Education Program in cooperation with our long-term partner B**g Sen 💚

Meet Anh Thư, a determined young girl who is in the 8th grade at a secondary school in the Mekong Delta.

Anh Thư lives with her grandparents. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and her mother has since been working far away from home to support the family.

The family’s circumstances are challenging, particularly as Anh Thư’s grandparents are elderly and her grandfather frequently needs to travel to the hospital for medical treatment.

Despite these difficulties, they continue to provide care and support for Anh Thư while she remains focused on her education.

Anh Thư is a hardworking and academically strong student. She consistently performs well at school and is described as diligent, responsible, and actively engaged in both her studies and daily life. She dreams of becoming a teacher in the future.

Her family circumstances and personal aspirations indicate the importance of continued monitoring and support to help her remain engaged in her education and pursue her goal of becoming a teacher.

Do you know how we at Chance to Grow empower women? 🌱
.. by giving them microcredits!!!

The goal of the microcredit program is to help women lead a self-determined life and thus give future generations the opportunity to attend school.

In addition to providing loans, our program also includes training in agricultural culture and finance to give the women the knowledge and skills they need to optimize their agricultural activities and increase their incomes.

By helping them to develop economically, we help to ensure that their children have a better future and can go to school.

We have big news . . .

Together with our partner Bông Sen, we will continue with our Girls’ Education program!

The Girls’ Education program aims to educate, train and support young girls mentally and academically.

We provide scholarships to girls to help with school costs. In addition, Bông Sen organizes educational workshops to highlight key aspects of education.

💧💧💧 We have big news for you! 💧💧💧

We are thrilled to announce that our clean water project was successfully completed after less than a year of construction!

In 2025, together with our partner Quỹ Trò Nghèo Vùng Cao (TNVC) we began constructing water wells at several schools in the mountainous region of Điện Biên Province, Vietnam. What all the schools had in common was that they did not have adequate access to clean water.

Thanks to financial support from private donors and companies, the schoolchildren and teachers now have access to clean water. The children can now focus entirely on what matters most to them: learning, exploring and playing.
