Our goal is to turn today’s Bangladeshi children into good future citizens. Since the founding of BCEDP in 2007, we have established five schools in Bangladesh.

The schools use books written by Kamruz Zaman, the founder and president of BCEDP. With these colorful, user-friendly books in their hands, 270 schoolchildren from underprivileged families have so far learned – free of cost – subjects like Bengali, English, Mathematics and Social Sciences, but the point of concentration has always been on issues like environmental awareness and respect for other h

umans – factors that are entirely absent in the society of Bangladesh. In addition, the books have been used in 1,700 other private schools, and the management of each and every school was entirely satisfied with the messages each book transmits. So far, only first graders have used the books, but we have meanwhile developed more books so that the message can be sustainably passed on year after year to children up to grade five.
