📢 Call for Applications: 13th EBHA Franco Amatori Doctoral Summer School (2026)
The European Business History Association (EBHA), together with the French Business History Association (AFHE) and with the support of the Fondation Maison de Salins, invites applications for the 13th EBHA Franco Amatori Doctoral Summer School.
📍 Location: Salins-les-Bains (Jura, France)
📅 Dates: 6–11 September 2026
🎓 Theme: Transitions and Variety of Business Organizations in European Capitalism
The Summer School is aimed at doctoral students in business history and related fields who wish to deepen their engagement with current theoretical, methodological, and empirical debates. It offers an intensive and collegial environment where participants present their dissertation projects, receive structured feedback from leading international scholars, and exchange ideas with peers from across Europe and beyond.
The programme combines faculty lectures and seminars with student presentations. Each participant will present their research project, including research questions, methodology, sources, challenges, and preliminary findings.
Accommodation (shared rooms) and meals will be covered by the organisers. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs. Enrollment is limited to 15 doctoral students.
