On the Occasion of Independence day Marathi Katta School of Dance Gals performed on the famous song
Natrang Ubha.

This was more than just a dance for the team.
It is a connection to their roots, a celebration of their heritage, and a tribute to the land of Maharashtra.

The stage becomes a sacred space - where the artist, the art, and the divine become one. The song beautifully echoes the spirit of Nataraj, the Lord of Dance, while celebrating Maharashtra's rich folk traditions of Tamasha, Lavani, and Marathi theatre. Carrying this spirit far beyond the borders of Maharashtra, the girls of Marathi Katta Germany School of Dance came together to celebrate the culture that lives in their hearts.

Thank you to the IGA team for organising the Bharat Utsav on 15th Aug on the occasion of Independence Day and giving the team a platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage and dance form from the State of Maharashtra.

Mrs. Pratibha Parkar is currently serving as Joint Secretary (Parliament & Coordination) at the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi. She previously served as the Ambassador of India to the Angola in Africa.

She had served as honorable Consul General of India in Frankfurt from 2017 to 2020.

Most importantly for us, she remains a cherished friend of our Marathi Katta Germany e.V. community . and Friends of India in Germany

पहिल्या युरोपीय मराठी एकांकिका स्पर्धेत मराठी कट्टा जर्मनी, अभिनय कल्लोळ या संघाचे घवघवीत यश!

४ ते ५ एप्रिल २०२६ दरम्यान युरोपातून एकूण १३ एकांकिका या स्पर्धेत सहभागी झाल्या. त्यात आपल्या “सोलमेट्स्” या एकांकिकेने एकूण ७ बक्षिसे पटकावली!

1. संगीत- तन्मय मेहेंदळे -सर्वोत्कृष्ट द्वितीय
2. नेपथ्य- शर्वरी मेहेंदळे, प्रगती जोशी आणि सचिन जोशी- सर्वोत्कृष्ट द्वितीय
3. प्रकाश योजना- तन्मय मेहेंदळे -सर्वोत्कृष्ट तृतीय
4. लेखन- तन्मय मेहेंदळे -सर्वोत्कृष्ट तृतीय
5. अभिनेत्री- ईशा इंगळे - सर्वोत्कृष्ट तृतीय
6. अभिनेता- Anendd Shukkla- सर्वोत्कृष्ट तृतीय
7. सांघिक -उत्तेजनार्थ

विशेष म्हणजे युरोपातून सादर झालेल्या एकूण १३ संघांपैकी ५ संघ तर फक्त जर्मनीतून सहभागी झाले होते.
त्यात केवळ आपल्याच संघाला प्रत्येक विभागात बक्षीस मिळाले!

या स्पर्धेतील काही सहस्पर्धक संघांनी सादर केलेल्या एकांकिका यापूर्वी व्यावसायिक स्तरावरही सादर केलेल्या होत्या. त्यामुळे स्पर्धेत एकप्रकारची चुरस होती आणि एकंदरीत एकांकिकांचा दर्जा खुपच उत्तम होता.

आपल्या स्पर्धेचं परिक्षण, १०० व्यावसायिक नाटकं दिग्दर्शित करण्याचा अनुभव पाठीशी असलेले श्री विजय केंकरे व श्री सचिन कंटक यांनी केले.

अशा चांगल्या माणसांना जर्मनीत त्यांच्या कार्यक्रमांमुळे आणि भारतात गेल्यावर मुंबई पुण्यामध्ये हक्काने भेटता येतं .. ह्यासाठी कट्ट्याचे आभार

#एक तप

आपल्या लाडक्या मराठी कट्टा जर्मनीला 12 वर्ष पूर्ण झाली.
12 वर्ष म्हणजेच "एक तप" हा केवळ एक कालावधी नाही तर teamwork आणि विश्वासाचं प्रतीक आहे आणि आपण सगळे या सुंदर प्रवासाचा भाग आहोत. त्यामुळे तुम्हाला सगळ्यांनाही खूप खूप शुभेच्छा!!

प्रसिद्ध जादूगार आणि मराठी कट्ट्याचे शुभचिंतक जितेंद्र रघुवीर यांनीही कट्ट्याला त्यांच्या खास जादुई शैलीत शुभेच्छा दिल्या आहेत.
