If we are to truly tackle the climate challenge, we must reframe the issue as one of climate justice.

Informing and sensitizing decisions makers on local, national and European levels is crucial to achieving strategic political decisions for sustainable development because of their important role mentioned in the post-2015 UN Development Agenda. They are consumers and providers of services and goods, and they play an important role in the management and use of natural resources. As the level of governance closest to the people, they play a vital role in educating, mobilizing and responding to the public to promote sustainable development. Therefore, to enhance and mobilize greater political support of European LA and their citizens towards the post-2015 development agenda is an important goal of Climate Alliance.
