WORLD HABITAT DAY — WHEN WE PROTECT A HOME, WE PROTECT A LIFE

Every creature on Earth has a place it calls home—a forest where a chimpanzee swings through the trees, a savannah where an elephant walks with its family, a wetland where birds find refuge, a coastline where turtles return to lay their eggs. But every day, these homes are disappearing beneath roads, concrete, fires and destruction. At Wild at Life, we believe that rescuing an animal is only part of the promise we make to them; we must also fight to protect the wild places they depend on to survive. We work to defend habitats, restore hope and give wildlife a future where they belong—not behind bars, not in cages, but free, in the places that were theirs long before they were ours. WORLD ANIMAL DAY — FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO VOICE 🐾❤️

They cannot ask us to save them. They cannot tell us where it hurts. They can only look into our eyes and hope that, this time, someone will care. On World Animal Day, we remember every frightened, injured, abandoned and exploited animal whose life so often goes unnoticed. At Wild at Life, we choose not to look away. We rescue, protect, heal and give animals the chance to feel safety, freedom and love again. Because behind every rescue is a beating heart that wanted to live—and sometimes, being the person who stops, reaches out a hand and says “I see you” is the difference between a life lost and a life saved. ❤️🌍

We are in mourning since 3 days. We have lost very precious lives.
Our hearts are heavy since. Beautiful people and beautiful dogs all lost their lives (except 3 dogs) on their way from Türkiye to France, while driving in Romania. Pictures of the scene is horrific.
This is one tragedy that has got us lost for words. So much in mind, so many lives, people and animals… a van bringing these dogs to freedom collided with 2 lories and got squeezed in between. They stood no chance
May they all rest in peace. We will never forget the beautiful 2 strong British women who lost their lives making the world a better place.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

the last few months have been incredibly difficult. We lost our shelter and the land we had worked so hard to build in Ankara. At the same time, stray animals across Türkiye are facing mass killing following the 2024 amendment to the law. We are doing everything we can to save them. In just eight months, we have rescued 120 dogs and 80 cats, cared for countless injured animals, and brought around 40 tons of food to animals in need.

The situation is urgent, and the survivors need us now more than ever. We have launched a fundraiser to help save Turkish strays from the ongoing mass killing and to provide food, rescue and veterinary care. URGENT APPEAL!

We are in need of urgent logistics and intels in Cuba. This is the help request we received from concerned supporters.
These lions are held in a zoo in a Cuba and we need someone on the ground to investigate and go there. We will then try to find a solution to get them to our sanctuary in one of our African places.
We have done such rescues before, including Syria, Nigeria and Burkina Faso. We will try whatever possible, or seems impossible, for them too. We can’t turn away. We can’t leave them to die.
Please share far and beyond., maybe someone in Cuba would see our need to have reliable information on the ground. Thank you
