🌟 Olameinu at the "Camping Community of Practice"! 🌟

We recently participated in a gathering of European Jewish camp leaders, organized by Yesod to exchange experiences and ideas.

Together, we explored:
✨ The psychology of traditions and change
✨ The role of Jewish rituals in camp life
✨ Challenges and opportunities for camp professionals

Representing Olameinu filled us with pride, as we shared our journey and connected with the broader Jewish camping community.

It is the final day of our European Camping Retreat Seminar. The seminar brought together European Camp professionals from around Europe to explore topics related to Judaism, rituals, traditions, and change.

Long-awaited eight days at Olameinu Baltic Summer Camp flew by in a flash 💫

✡️ From morning Mifkad to evening Laila Tov, from the story of Exodus to modern-day Israel, from crafting beautiful Shabbat candles to exploring the history of Jerusalem, every moment was filled with learning, laughter, and unity for 130 kids from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

A warm thank you to all the staff, volunteers, madrichim, and our partner organizations who made this week possible. Your dedication and passion inspired us every single day and made every child feel at home away from home 🫶

🚀 Soon, we’ll meet for the older session and we can’t wait to welcome teenagers to the world of Olameinu!

❤️ Our hearts are full with warmth after the long-awaited Olameinu Alumni Reunion Shabbat Gala Dinner, celebrating 20 years of the Baltic Jewish Summer Camp.

🌟 From heartwarming speeches from different generations of leaders to live music, festive dinner, Israeli dancing, and traditional Laila Tov, it was a magical evening to remember. The energy shared throughout the night reminded us of the best days at camp spent in the company of like-minded, creative, enthusiastic, and inspired people.

🙏🏻 Thank you to everyone who attended - your presence and support highlight the strength and impact the camp has on our Baltic Community

🌎 We're delighted to share our experience at the first European Jewish Camping Retreat organized by Yesod Europe and held at the newly renovated in Hungary from November 21-23.

✡ The retreat emphasized on the profound impact camps have on nurturing Jewish identity and strengthening Jewish life. Among the 30 enthusiastic representatives from across Europe, engaging discussions on 'The Theory of Change,' the significance of 'Measuring and Evaluation,' and a delightful 'Camp Mind Mapping exercise' took place. The exchange of best practices was truly inspiring.

🎊 Olameinu Baltic Summer Camp is one of the biggest Jewish camps in Europe with its rich history of more than 20 years. And we believe that by being part of the European and Global network of like-minded colleagues, partners, and friends we can create an even more impactful experience to our Olameinu camp Community ❤️

🫶 11 unforgettable summer days at Olameinu Baltic Jewish Camp Teens Session

✨ Opening a new chapter for Olameinu has been an exiting experience and we couldn’t be prouder with the result - looking into the happy faces of more than 150 teenagers, 50 dear madrichim and staff members and many more of those who are supportively involved into making it all happen.

👏🏻 Teenagers from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia came together to celebrate the beauty of our Jewish tradition and the power of our identity in a warm and joyful atmosphere filled with balanced daily activities surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Baltics

🌟Olameinu Summer Camp First Session: Unforgettable Moments and Joyful Celebration🌟

🫶 From 18th to 26th of July after 3 years break we gathered together for a long-awaited Olameinu Baltic Jewish Summer Camp! The warmth and unity were in the air as more than 160 participants from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia arrived to the camp at the picturesque recreation complex

💡From sunup to sundown the days were filled with educational activities and exiting workshops helping campers 7 to 12 years old to immerse in this year’s theme: "Jewish-NOW: Embark on an Exciting Exploration of Contemporary Jewish Identity!". Tikun Olam initiatives, Talent Show and Music Games, Hala baking, Shabbat and Havdallah ceremonies, J-Talk lessons and traditional Laila Tov stories – is just a small part of the rich camp program.

🙌🏻 We express our deepest gratitude to all the dedicated staff, madrichim, volunteers and partnering organizations who made this camp possible. Your passion and commitment were evident in every moment.
