A New Era for Afghan Women’s Football ⚽️🇦🇫
The International Refugee Sports Federation (IRSF) proudly welcomes the historic decision made at the 76th FIFA Congress. This landmark reform paves the way for Afghan female footballers to return to the international stage under exceptional circumstances.
Through this initiative, and in close coordination with the AFC, teams like Afghan Women United will now receive official recognition to compete globally. Our mission is clear: No athlete should be sidelined by circumstances beyond their control.
The IRSF is committed to providing full operational, human, and financial support to ensure these brave athletes have the platform they deserve. This is more than a game—it is a victory for inclusion and human rights.
