We are a christian charity based in Frankfurt, Germany. Our aim is to lighten the burden for orphanages in the Democratic Republic of Congo and help improve the quality of life for the orphans under their care, all while spreading the love the Christ.

Mount Nyiragongo is located in Eastern DR Congo inside Virunga National Park near the city of Goma and the Rwanda border. It is part of the Albertine Rift Mountains in the East African Rift.
It is famous for having one of the worlds largest persistent lava lakes. The lake sits in the summit crater and has been active for decades.At times it’s been over 700ft wide.

Virunga National Park where Nyiragongo sits is Africa’s oldest national park and it is also home to endangered mountain gorilllas.

The Congo basin is the world’s second largest tropical rainforest, covering 500 million acres across six countries.The Democratic Republic of the Congo contains the largest share, nearly 60%.

The Congo river which flows through the basin is Africa’s second longest river and the deepest in the world with some parts reaching over 220 meters deep. It is a lifeline for millions supporting fishing, transport and biodiversity.
