🌟 Meet the Jury – Hull International Choir Competition 2027

From April 30 to May 4, 2027, Hull will welcome choirs from around the world. We're happy to introduce the outstanding international jury to evaluate and inspire them:

🎼 Dr. Darius Lim (Singapore)
Visionary conductor-composer and cultural leader whose internationally performed works and innovative projects continue to shape the global choral scene.

🎼 Joanna Tomlinson (Great Britain)
Highly respected conductor and vocal coach, working with leading ensembles and major institutions across the UK and Europe.

🎼 Basilio Astulez (Spain)
Internationally active conductor and educator, known for his work with award-winning youth and women’s choirs and his strong commitment to choral education worldwide.

We're proud to announce:

✨ The World Choir Games will return to Linz, Austria in 2027. ✨

With the 15th edition, the world’s largest international choir competition comes back to the city where it all began in 2000. For the first time in its history, a host city will welcome the World Choir Games for a second time.

Thank you to the City of Linz and the State of Upper Austria for making this event possible and welcoming the global World Choir Games community back to its roots.

What started as a vision has grown into a global Choral Olympic Movement that connects people through music across cultures and continents.

We look forward to welcoming the world’s choirs to Linz and Upper Austria in 2027! 🤩🎶
