Best Practices for the Inclusion of Young People in Vulnerable Situations in Terres de l’Ebre, Catalonia 🌍✨
The study visit in Terres de l’Ebre, Catalonia, Spain, brought together 19 international youth workers from 13 different European and non-European countries from February 28th to March 6th, 2026. This mobility project, organized by Obre’t Ebre under Erasmus+, focused on the topic of „Best Practices and Networking Building Activities for the Inclusion of Young People in Vulnerability.“ 🤝🌱
The main aim of the visit was to explore and promote effective practices and methodologies for the inclusion of young people facing vulnerability. We delved into the various challenges that these young individuals face, including social, economic, educational, and labor barriers, and worked to understand how these obstacles impact their everyday lives. We also aimed to improve by learning new methodologies. 💡📚
Through interactive discussions, workshops, and field visits, we identified and shared successful approaches that have proven effective in overcoming these challenges. The exchange of knowledge and practical experiences allowed us to reflect on the impact of different initiatives and how they could be adapted and implemented in diverse contexts. 💬🌍
Furthermore, this study visit offered an invaluable opportunity to connect with new organizations from other countries, as well as with organizations from Catalonia at the local level. Building networks with other professionals in the youth work field will allow us to further strengthen our collective efforts to empower young people in vulnerable situations. 🤝🌍
Overall, this experience was not only insightful but also inspiring, reminding us of the importance of solidarity, shared knowledge, and continuous collaboration in supporting the inclusion of vulnerable youth. 💪❤️
