Am vergangenen Wochenende waren wir wie bereits angekündigt im Rahmen der Hobby-Show im Binnenschiffahrts Museum in Duisburg als Austeller tätig.

Wie schon im Jahr zuvor am ersten Adventswochenende bereiteten wir auf unserer Schauanlage "Landbahnhof" Fahrbetrieb aus.

Natürlich gab es wieder regen Andrang. Nicht zuletzt auch wegen den Neuigkeiten, welche unser Fortkommen im Neuen Vereinsheim anbelangt. Dazu gab es einiges zu erzählen, aber nicht nur dazu.

Wer eifrig und aufmerksam war hat uns zeitgleich und parallel mit einem weiteren Infostand auf dem Adventsmarkt in Duisburg-Bissingheim vorfinden können.
Dort konnten viele ehemalige Eisenbahner die in Wedau und Umgebung stationiert waren uns erstmalig kennenlernen.

Für einen Guten Plausch unter Liebhabern der Eisenbahn waren wir an beiden Standorten zu haben.

Wir möchten uns herzlich bei allen Veranstaltern, Beteiligten, Helfern und natürlich den zahlreichen Gästen und Interessierten für dieses Wochenende bedanken.

Hello dear followers,

As previously announced, we were exhibitors at the Hobby Show at the Inland Waterways Museum in Duisburg last weekend.

As we did last year on the first weekend of Advent, we set up train operations on our ‘Landbahnhof’ display layout.

Of course, there was once again a large crowd. Not least because of the news regarding our progress with the new clubhouse. There was a lot to talk about, but not only that.

Those who were eager and attentive were able to find us at the same time and in parallel at another information stand at the Advent market in Duisburg-Bissingheim.
There, many former railway workers who were stationed in Wedau and the surrounding area were able to meet us for the first time.

We were available for a good chat among railway enthusiasts at both locations.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the organisers, participants, helpers and, of course, the numerous guests and interested parties for this weekend.

Auch in diesem Jahr findet ihr uns mit unserer Modulanlage im Binnenschiffahrts Museum in Duisburg.
Zur Hobby-Show am Tag der Modelleisenbahn werden wir unseren Landbahnhof ausstellen.
Wie ihr in der Vergangenheit mitbekommen habt, waren wir auf der Suche nach einem Neuen Vereinsheim.
Wir können mit Freude verkünden, dass dieses nun gefunden wurde.
Aktuell sind wir noch fleißig beim Umzug, aber zu den beiden Veranstaltungstagen können wir Euch schon Neuigkeiten rund um unsere neue Location geben.

Es geht also munter weiter und wir freuen uns schon auf zwei ereignisreiche Tage zur Hobby-Show im Binnenschiffahrts Museum.

This year, you will once again find us with our modular layout at the Inland Waterways Museum in Duisburg.
We will be exhibiting our land station at the hobby show on Model Railway Day.
As you may have noticed in the past, we were looking for a new clubhouse.
We are delighted to announce that we have now found one.
We are currently busy moving, but we will be able to give you some news about our new location during the two days of the event.

So things are moving along nicely and we are looking forward to two eventful days at the Hobby Show at the Inland Waterways Museum.
