Right now, we’re particularly looking for recruiters who speak:

🚲 Mallorca necesita más mecánicos de bicicletas. ¿Y si la solución empezara con una nueva FP?

Gracias al trabajo de Asociación AMBE el Gobierno ha aprobado la nueva Formación Profesional de Mecánica de Bicicletas y Vehículos de Movilidad Personal.

En Mallorca llevamos años escuchando la misma necesidad: faltan mecánicos cualificados.
Con el peso que tiene el ciclismo en la isla, ¿podría ser Mallorca uno de los primeros lugares en impartir esta FP?

🚲 Mallorca needs more bike mechanics. What if the solution starts with a new vocational training programme?

Thanks to the work of Asociación AMBE the Spanish Government has officially approved a new Vocational Training programme in Bicycle and Personal Mobility Vehicle Mechanics.

Here in Mallorca, we keep hearing the same challenge: there simply aren’t enough qualified bike mechanics. With cycling playing such an important role on the island, could Mallorca become one of the first places to offer this new qualification?

That is why we also like to put motivated early-career profiles in the spotlight, especially when passion, industry understanding, and the right mindset come together.

Today, we are presenting a 26-year-old candidate based near Heidelberg, who is open to relocating across Europe for the right opportunity. He is a passionate road cyclist and describes himself as a real “bike nerd”. His long-term ambition is clear: he wants to grow further into the cycling industry and build his career in an environment where he can keep learning, contribute, and develop.

He brings a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Sports Management, giving him a broad commercial and strategic foundation. Alongside this, he already has first-hand experience within the bike industry, including:

• Sales experience in bike retail
• Customer advice around road and gravel bikes
• First marketing experience within the cycling environment

He is open to different commercial directions, including sales, purchasing or marketing — aware that he is still young and has a lot to learn. That is exactly why he is looking for an employer where he can grow with guidance, mentoring and exposure to the industry from the inside.
