Viele Tanz- und Ballettschulen suchen qualifizierte Lehrkräfte – warum also nicht den eigenen Nachwuchs aufbauen?🌟

Vielleicht gibt es in Ihrer Schule bereits talentierte Assistent*innen, fortgeschrittene Tänzer*innen oder ehemalige Schüler*innen, die sich eine Zukunft als Tanzpädagog*in vorstellen können.🫧

Mit der berufsbegleitenden Ausbildung „Tanzpädagogik – Klassischer Tanz“ begleitet der DBfT engagierte Tänzer*innen auf dem Weg in die pädagogische Praxis.

TPZ 2026 – Dance Pedagogy Qualification⭐️

Great news!
Starting this year, the Tanzpädagogisches Zertifikat (TPZ) can partly be funded through a German education voucher (Bildungsgutschein). Up to 77%!

The 4th generation of the TPZ program starts on October 5, 2026.

After a long certification process, we are very happy that this important step has finally been achieved – even if it came a bit later than expected. This makes the program significantly more accessible for professional dancers planning their transition into dance pedagogy.

The program is designed for professional stage dancers who want to expand their artistic careers with a sustainable pedagogical perspective and build new career opportunities in dance education.

• Start: 5 October 2026
• Duration: 9–12 months
• Format: Hybrid (online + 1 in-person week in Dortmund)
• Language: mainly English
• No German or school diploma required
• Final qualification: DBfT Dance Pedagogy Certificate💐

Three specializations:

• KT – Artistic Dance (dance school pedagogy)
• KP – Artistic projects in socio-cultural contexts
• PB – Professional sector (company training)

Total: 5,900 €
