The EURA 2026 Annual Conference has officially opened in Venice.

Until 20 June, more than 300 urban scholars, researchers and practitioners will gather to discuss this year’s theme: “Cities under Strain: Rethinking the Ungovernable.”

The opening took place in the remarkable setting of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, with welcome addresses from Benno Albrecht, Rector of IUAV University of Venice, and Francesco Musco, IUAV Director of Research, followed by the opening plenary sessions.

We look forward to four days of international exchange, interdisciplinary debate and collective reflection on the future of cities and territories.

Fino al 20 giugno, il Dipartimento di Culture del progetto ospita l'annuale conferenza della European Urban Research Association il cui tema per questa edizione "Cities under strain: rethinking the ungovernable".
