🎉 The mentorship journey for Cohort 6 has officially started.

40 Talents from our new intake have now been matched with their personal mentors from 13 countries around the world. Through the virtual 1:1 mentorship program, tech professionals support our Talents as they build confidence, navigate the industry, and prepare for careers in tech. 🌍💻

From Germany to Kenya, Malta to India — all connected by one shared goal: opening pathways into tech for the next generation of African women.

Patience Sitati, a talent of Cohort 4, joined Groundbreaker Talents with zero coding experience.

She has since earned a Certificate in Software Engineering and is currently furthering her expertise by pursuing a BBA in Finance and AI with Nexford University, one of our training partners.

One year ago, Cotrida had just finished Senior 6, with basic computer skills and big dreams of building a career in tech.

Today, Cotrida is a full-stack developer pursuing a BBA in Finance & AI with Nexford University. She has already contributed to multiple tech projects and spoken on several tech panels.

We’re proud to be part of Cotrida’s journey and of many more young African women building careers in tech and shaping the future of Africa’s digital economy. 🥂
